Next Six Flags Park

What should be the next SF park? VisionLand, Jazzland, or The Great Escape, or name another park!
Visionland by a long shot! They are so indeed of a good ride (other than the Rampage) it isn't funny.

What is life without ups and downs!?!?
Josh, your read my thoughts when I wrote this. I was there yesterday and I couldn't see a sign of construction on their new towers except possibly a few pieces. I'm going again tomorrow and hope to get pics and put them on my site!

Heres an idea, how about Six Flags make their own park, rather than just buying out others.

By the way, that site doesn't exist rampage lover.

There's NO DOUBT that the next Six Flags park WILL BE The Great Escape...

Why? It's already owned by Six Flags properties... they are in desperate need of vast improvements, and a lot of advertisements, such as near-by motels, hotels, campgrounds, and attractions list The Great Escape as "Six Flags Great Escape" only recently, suggesting that they will take the plunge probably in the fall.

The time will come, and this will be the force to be rekoned with come 2002...
... er... the force in New York State and whatever is north of New York! :)
The Great Escape or Frontier City is my geuss.
Wyandot Lake, The Great Escape seem like they will become Six Flags soon.

It doesn't seem like Wyandot Lake is the type of park that SF brands (john peck... agree?) ... how about Cedar Point becoming Six Flags Lake Erie, or The New Six Flags Ohio. Then they could take over PKI and have Six Flags Ohio Again, or SFO3...

My hope is no more Six Flags themed parks. They're pretty spread out now and it's becoming so boring and homogenized. Not the rides really, but the theming and branding; how damn many Batman coasters does this country warrant?

They add a lot in to their parks, and their ownership I don't mind, it's just that in a couple of years there'll be more Six Flags than McDonald's. I think the name is worn thin.

BTW...yes, I was joking about PKI and CP, put down the flamethrower and step away from the keyboard with your hands in the air.

I refuse to add a signature. Damn, too late. *** This post was edited by kpjb on 3/29/2001. ***
