Next Giga-Coaster

I love my home park SFGA,, but I do have to say, I think St. Louis deserves one, cause they dont ever get anything,, it looks like. And besides, with the rules and all, Great America cant get that,, they couldnt even add 100 ft to the giant drop.. so,,

i think that Six Flags STL should get a news giga coaster b/c SFSTL doesnt get much & all the other SF parks are getting lots of coasters & stuff & SFSTL hasnt got anything recently

They in the last 4 years have gotten two coasters.
Realize SFSTL has NO COMPETITION. Also realize that SFSTL is one of the smaller population areas.
Get over it, it's in Missouri. If you want to whine about not getting anything look across the state first at WOF. We're in Missouri GET OVER IT

This may seem far-fetched, but with all SFMM has been getting lately, perhaps Six Flags really wants to take them to the top. Even though they just got a hyper, I could see a giga going in there.

For the last time, Hersheypark is not getting a hyper-mega-giga anything. Got it?
I think we will see a Giga at SFMM by 2005 just think Cp has Magnum and MF SFMM has Goliath and ?

I see SFMM as the only park in the US with the money and land available for something of that magnitude.

IOA and Disney parks have no problem with the money but the space and tone of there parks I just could not see them getting a giga coaster.

CF parks CP is like the only park able to handle a coaster of that magnitude and they already have one. The other are to stressed for land.

Paramount parks some are stressed for land and Paramount is not a park chain that has added super huge rides in the past so I don't expect them to surpass hyper coaster and go straight to giga.

SF parks. The only SF parks I coulds see getting something of that size is SFWOA or SFMM b/c those seem like the parks that all of the money is going into. I don't see SFWOA getting one anytime soon b/c of Cp and MF but SFMM is in California what better place to put one. One in Ohio, Japan , California , and later down the line one in Flordia that's how I see it.

I might be wrong and we all might be shocked to see the next giga in Vegas lol
LOL! Excellent post.

What? Disney has their own planet. The rat can do whatever he wants.

Arnold's Park, trust me they've been saving up for years now ;)

You build it, I'll ride it...eventually
I used to think that some parks would not have room for big coasters like a giga (say Knotts), but, after visiting Hershey park and seeing Great Bear literally shoehorned in and around several existing rides including coasters and a flume, I think a coaster can be built just about anywhere. We've all heard that "CP has no room" I say that's right, another couple dozen coasters and they might start getting tight on space!

I hope I don't start any arguments, but I think that a park like Knotts could fit in a large coaster with a little creative placement ala Hershey.

At SFGAm the Sky Trek tower is 285 feet tall. so i think they have a tunnel to have a 300 foot drop. In 2003 I think they will get a B&M Flying coaster.

Get wrapped in the coils of Viper at SFGAm.

You say that like it's a done deal... as cool as it would be, it's still a rumor, along with every CP 2002 coaster.

CP may not get the next one, but they sure will get another.
