Get to the Point, Cedar Point!
I agree. If there will be another expansion pack, it should be called Wacky Woodies!

Rollercoasters are the secret of life!

if there's another expansion pack,it should be called mile a minute thrills! The name says it all.the focus of this expansion would be more thrill rides.I like the sound of wacky woodies though.
well another game would have what ever the B&M flying coaster will be like
Really, I don't think there will be another expansion pack, also because Chris Sawyer stated in an interview that he's reached the limits of what can be done and still have an expansion compatible with the original game. I think what we'll see next is a complete overhaul in a new game, RCT II or whatever.

I agree CrystalKat. He should make new coasters with turns like the Millennium Force. He should have diffent thrill rides like the Tilt-a-Whirl, The Zipper, and a Double Ferris Wheel.
Chris Sawyer should make a coaster like Superman: The Ultimate Escape. Where you can make it go back and forth a couple times through instead of once.
Its called a DVD drive its the wave of the future and can hold twice as much as CD so RCT could see a sequel, since alot of new games coming out will be DVD in the Next Few Years.
DVD roms will go the way of the mini-disk.
Bluelasers are what will be big, it holds 10+ times the amount of data of DVDs. (read about it in Computer Gaming World about 6 months ago)

And as for the next expansion, read what CrystalKat said.

Cyclops. 1900 feet of CCI goodness.
I am sure he will do it on a DVD. I doubt he will put it on something new, which very few people have.

DVD is becoming near-standard on laptops and new PC's. The only problem is that PC's aren't becoming obsolete as fast, so they're not being replaced as often. Look at your local Best Buy and look at the DVD vs. VHS real estate. The format is here to stay, though the adoption rate is going to be a little slower on PC's.

As for Mini-Disc... check your local radio station. Chances are they're using it. It's far from dead, it just isn't the consumer format everyone was betting on.

All that aside, the most complex games aren't on DVD now, so why would RCT need to be?

Good point on DVD, Jeff - it's not on nearly so many computers as manufacturers would wish. When I bought my "big" computer a little more than 2 years ago, I even opted to switch from a DVD down to a CDROM because it dropped like $150 off the price. Give it a few more years, then we may be seeing a lot more on DVD, but not right away.
