Next CF park to get a coaster, besides CP?

I think Valleyfair and WOF will both get an inverted next year. Boy are they due for something. I don't see MA getting a giga..it's too close to Cedar Point.
so what if it is to close to cp, be good so i don't have to go all the way to ohio to ride it, i just have to take the hour and half drive to there to ride it

Knott's has not built a coaster sibce 1998 for God's sake. OK, it WAS Ghostrider (awesome) and we did get Supreme Scream and Perilous Plunge, but coasters are needed at The Farm BADLY. Especialy considering the attendance.

As for what, I have heard EVERY rumor in the book, so SOMEBODY has to be correct. "Inside" sources say to look for a late 2001 (Nov.-Dec.) opening.

Right now, a Talon clone (or mirror) is on the top of MY wish list.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
I definately expect MA to get a hyper coaster next year. The park has been working towards those ends for a few years now, and I think that there were already plans for it to be added next year. I'm sure that Cedar Fair will follow through with those plans.
I think WoF will get a version of Talon. They are due, and an inverted would round out a nice collection of coasters at WoF.
I dont care what it is Hyper, Giga, Inverted, Air powered, Lsm, just make it Good....and send it FedEx to Knotts. Of course and Air Powered Inverted Giga coaster would be something special. The Attendance has risen dramatically since Ghostrider was added, the general public is smart because the CAN tell that it doesnt have to be a record a breaker to be good. Cedar Fair needs something to draw crowds to showcase Perilous Plunge because No one is goin just for that ride....Yet. And Knotts is conveniently located right smack dab in the middle of The largest metropolis in the country. If cedar fair put something great in, not only would KNotts become the #1 cedar fair park. But Six Flags crown jewel wouldnt stand a chance. SFMM is too far away and doesnt hold a candle to the family draw that The Farm has. Please cedar fair please.... Send something down SoCal way.......the Farm is ready to grow!!!!!

I think it would be cool if Valley Fair, Worlds of Fun and Knotts Berry Farm to all get inverted coasters. From what I've heard, Talon is a great invert; but I think it would be cool for B&M to flex their creative sides and create unique, intense inverts (like Talon) for all three parks. 2002 could be Cedar Fair's inverted coaster year.

In the last issue of First Drop, there is an article on IAAPA 2000. In the coverage of CCI, it says that a Ghostrider clone could be on the way to Worlds of Fun.

I can definitely see a hyper going to Michigan's Adventure. It's been talked about for a while, and Cedar Fair obviously likes having hypers in their parks.

KBF actually has the highest attendance for all CF parks. They should get something big, and world-class. I'm still pulling for an Intamin mega, although an invert wouldn't be too shabby either!

KBF should be the next to get a coaster. Last year attendance dropped 4 percent and has had a 3 percent drop in attendance so far this year also. Granted attendance is down because of the rainy weather so far this year(21 days of rain compared to last years 11 days in same period), but CP had a 4 percent jump with real bad weather last year but thats due to the new coaster also.
