ok i was at kennywood a few days ago and, behind the jackrabbit, i saw blue tracks, and a small statue of liberty
What kind of track? Arrow? Morgan? B&M? Intamin?
not shore, it was behind a fence, it was blue, and im pretty shore a corkscrew track, didnt get that goood of a look though
What kinda tracks?????(coaster,train,monorail)
My freind's gotta small statue of liberty in her back yard garden. What's that suppose to mean???????
no it was a coaster track, they baught alot of land around there, i think the statue will be fo the quier line, i think it will be a new york/new year themed coaster, if u go, right to the left of old mill in a walk way go down there, and you'll be in a pavilian, to the right of hte bath rooms there is a fence, look threw the fenc e or above it and you'll see it
Are you "shore?"

I may get to KW this weekend (unless my free SFO tickets come from AOL this week) I'll hunt down the track and post photos on my website.

I will be there on August 6. Not for the ACE event though. I will look for the track and trup and get some photos.
I'll be there on the 6th, as well, FOR the ACE event. I'll have my camera with me looking for survey stakes, parts, etc., If Kennywood announces anything I'll be sure to report back to CoasterBuzz :)

When I was there on Thursday, we looked VERY hard for track pieces and couldn't find anything. Are you 'shore' they are corkscrew? I hope K-Wood doesn't try to save cash by revamping the Phantom. I think it's a great ride the way it is. It is completely intense and rough...but hey, I like it rough. If they build a clone, then what's the purpose of that?

There's nothing like a woodie...
I was at Kennywood yesterday and looked everywhere. There was absolutely no track anywhere in that park. However in line for the Steel Phantom you can see that there are bushes and few trees with spray paint on them. Even one light pole. hmmm
My dad's company had a picnic there yesterday, so I was on the unloading crew that had to go behind the Jack Rabbit. I saw nothing elusive to any type of coaster track what-so-ever (and I looked hard, and strayed a bit (but not to trespass))
I did notice the spray paint, and that they took down the historical photos from the trellis' under the SF lift hill.

There is no track at KW, yet at least. The only thing there resembling a new coaster are land surveying stakes

Hmmm Beeman that's odd. Yesterday on your great informational site you said that track had been spotted. First you mis-informed the public about the Arrow thing (if you want to read my thoughts on that one go check out my post in the Morgan or Arrow topic). Then you mis-informed the public about the Morgan track being spotted, and in neither case did you say that opps we were wrong. No you didn't you just took it of the site. So how in the world can your site be trusted? What in teh world happened to the Aroow poster tube, the quote from the Arrow employee that you kept on your site just taking away Arrow employee at the end of it, and now the Morgan track that was there and now is gone. There are people that go to the site read it and sadly belive it. Perhaps the next time you add some of your "exclusive information to your site why not make sure it's true.
Hmmm... I can see where this is heading.
As of yet, nothing has been announced.
As of yet, no coaster track has shown up.
As of yet, Kennywood employees are not talking.
As of yet, it's all speculation.
and...
As of yet, this forum is still not to be used as an attack on other people.
