Newest Vekoma GIB stalled @ Madrid

Warner Bros Movie World Madrid reported to the press today, that their STUNTFALL coaster stalled today due to a power failure. 32 riders gut stuck upside down for an hour.

Well, "power failure" sounds better than to tell the press that these rides get stuck all around the globe, every now and then.

stuck upside down?!
Yeah, where would this ride get stuck upside-down? If it vallies, it would be either between the loop and cobra-roll, in the cobra-roll itself (in which the train for the most part would be in the right side up position), between the second lift and the loop, or in the station.

The press-release said, it got stuck in a loop. But I would guess it valleyed in the cobra-roll, which is a loop for the press.

Or maybe between the loop and the cobra roll, that has been known to happen.

has anyone got a link to anything that can confirm this?

Well, it doesn't seem to far fetched. A GIB valleying isn't exactly earth shattering... ;)

Exactly. You mean, it hasn't happened until now! ;)
well, seeing as this ride was delayed by 3 months to allow vekoma to iron out the problems and this is this rides first valley, i thought it was a bit strange and was just curious to see a press release

Understood. :)

My guess is it happened in the boomerang. Maybe a few riders stalled upside down, but not all of them. I really doubt it would stall in the vertical loop, that just seems hard.

Sounds like those three months of 'improvements' didn't do much improving, did they?

Does anyone have a pic of this coaster operating because Ive seen plenty of it being constructed and many where its fully constructed but in front of the entrance it says sorry this ride is closed for today. I would like a pic of it operating or the trains because I never saw the trains. I know some people will say just look at Deja Vu but I'd like a pic of Stuntfall.

I'm going to assume the wheel did not break off on the GIB.

Thanks for the pics but are there any closer pics of the ride or the trains which I'm really interested in.
Considering the Press relaease said it stalled because of a power faulre, My guess is that it stalled between the loop and second lift or the loop of the cobra roll. When the power goes out, all the brakes automatically close, and I believe that the GIB do have brakes in those areas. If it was indeed because of a power failure, my guess is it would be one of these two areas.

I believe it stalled on the first lift, which makes more sense than anything if it was a power failure.

Did the other GIBs stall because of power loss or was it the weather that got to them?

Does this thing go faaaaaast!
