New Wings

Well 2012 is half over and there were two new B&M Wing Coasters installed, and one of course at a Six Flags. I was just wondering if anyone cared to speculate which Six Flags will be the next recipient? My money goes to Six Flags Over GA, Over Texas, or Great Adventure. Any other thoughts ??

Are you MAN ENOUGH to ride this ride ?

Most definitely, Michigan's Adventure.

My guess is that Cedar Point is getting the next one.

I was going to say Cedar Point, with a winkieface and everything, kpjb, but he asked which Six Flags park.

Six Flags does'nt even know where the new wingrider coaster is going yet!

If Michigan's Adventure gets a wing coaster, it will probably be called wing coaster, but will just be a bunch of plastic chickens on one of those go-gator tracks. And, you get to ride on their backs...yippie!!

I didn't do it! I swear!!

Will they put it mid-Timbers?

Yeah, behind Timbertown Railway sirloindude, with a special trail with a chicken-wire maze to get to it. One of the cars on the coaster would even be a half broken eggshell, and you can ride in it backwards, so you can see mid Timbers as you slowly get bored to sleep.

At the end of the ride they'll have a chicken coop where you can get an on ride photo of yourself for $25.00 or buy a stuffed chicken for $50.00. And, it'll even be included in fast lane so you can skip the 1 minute line!! LOL!!

Don't mean to dis-respect the original post. If they build a new wing coaster at a Six Flags park, I would guess Magic Mountain. Mainly so they can keep up the fight with Cedar Point for the coaster crown.

You know, it's not like the Stanley Cup or anything...

I'm sure they'll settle for brownie points! :)

Six Flags finally made their decision on where the coaster is going yesterday, so now you have to wait for their announcement!

Really? They market researched, ordered, surveyed, designed, and paid for a coaster without knowing where it's going?

When you put coasters in parking lots, they can pretty much fit anywhere ;-)

One B&M Wing coaster is already slated for next year....not at any SF park, but in China's Ocean Kingdom (pretty sure that's the park that WAS going to take Beast's record for longest wooden coaster).

Not sure I can see any of the SF parks getting one next year...but other than that one ride, B&M has nothing else confirmed that we know of yet....so they've got some left-over "capacity". ;~)

Damn China and their many theme parks building new sweet rides.

And all that in just four short days, too. Impressive!
