New Viper trains spotted at SFGAd

I was there yesterday and I saw a new train in the station to Viper. It was green with a snake shaped front car and a yellow stripe on the side. The back car looks like a rattle and has a little orange. The seats are a little slanted but I couldn't see if restraint.
Maybe they retrofited the ride with lap bar but I kind of doubt that considering the last inversion, which produces some tight laterals.
I hope they get new trains because Viper was a very rough ride but it still was good.
I've heard that it is an incredible rough ride.  However, I have seen pictures of it, and it looks like a lot of fun.  I'm glad that they put lapbars, if that's what they really did, on the trains.  I would like to ride it.  It doesn't look too intense, just fun, like the arrow corkscrews.

Past this point of no return your only choice is freeze or burn.
no its VERY intense. It caught me by surprise. I never thought it was rough even with the old trains. Problem was your shoulders get crushed. But the firast drop is wicked! If you look at the photo of the first drop you can see how unusually steep and sudden it is. I found this coaster to be more intense than Medusa or Batman.
I loved the ride and didn't think it was rough at all. I didn't crush my shoulders either.
Thank God the ride it's being taken down! I love Viper! I knew they weren't taking it down because it's a great ride just rough. I was hoping for new stand up Togo traind but that really wouldn't work right? well im going next weekend so i'll take same pictures! Promise look for the forum in General Buzz!

I never minded Viper.  I thought the first inversion, which left you hanging upside-down for what seemed like forever, was quite interesting... moreso than your average vertical loop.  I also loved the first drop, which felt extremely steep compared to those on other looping coasters.  I would take the Viper over GASM any day.
NO NEW TRAINS!!!!!  I even have a picture from 9/15 to prove it!  I took it form inside the maintenance sheds...the three crappy TOGO trains are just sitting in there rusting.  Trust me.  Viper is no more.  There is no hope for it ever returning.  Why some people want it to return is beyond me.  It is the worlds worst rollercoaster.

Like I said before Viper is great and it only had two trains. Anyway I'm not doubting you because I could be mistaken it could have been the old trains but there was 2 trains in the station.
nevermind this. No its not the worts coaster.

From what I heard from someone who attended Coaster Celebration, Viper is in danger of removal next year, as well as Evolution.

Actually, Viper does have three trains, although I doubt that all three were run at once on more than a few occasions.

Viper has 3 trains.  Usually, the third train is not needed because the ride is only 10 SECONDS LONG!  There are three trains, and they will no longer be in the park next year...as well as the "coaster" part, if you could call it that.

I really hope that they don't scrap Viper because it was a fun and unique ride.  The first drop was awesome, especially in the back, tons of air.  The first inversion was cool since you were literally hanging upside-down, and the last inversion was cool since you floated right through it.  As stated above, Viper was rough like GASM, it was simply the shoulder harness constantly pushing down on your shoulders that was bad.  It was honestly a very tolerable ride.

Its definitely unique, I think it would be a shame to lose it.  It is definitely unlike anything else we have here in the States, and it does offer something that all enthusiasts can appreciate- capacity!  Two trains running on Viper means at least that many fewer riders waiting for Medusa and Nitro!
I thought Viper was a good ride but too rough! I hope that they could save the ride and change the seat restraints.  I just wish that they would do something with the GASM and there shoulder restraints! I just can't stand the headbanging you get from the ride. I love that ride too!

"Lookout" it's NITROGIRL!!!
Sorry, but I would love to see GASM removed and replaced with something worthy of riding.  It takes a LOT for me to hate a coaster, but that one always manages to make me unhappy.  I really don't see why that coaster is kept around, as there is another seven-inversion sit-down looping coaster in the park named Medusa, and that thing does everything that GASM never did, and so much more.  GASM's site would make a great location for a mid-sized woodie!
I LIKED the ride - it was rough for a steelie, but that first inversion is unlike any inversion on any other coaster I've ridden.  I hate talk of removing coasters, it just makes me sad...

Did any one get a picture of this yet?

I can not see them re doing a ride that people are afraid of.
