New VHS coaster video coming?

Well it's not Golden Hill, but, it's something....
After filtering through my normal spam, I got this in my mail, and didn't see a thread for it.

The Link doesn't work

Get rid of the paragraph tag prior to the link. That should fix it.

Yep I also received an email about this, and I've already ordered my copy. I mainly ordered it because it features Carowinds, Myrtle Beach, and Wild Adventures :)

hey thanks for posting, i just ordered my copy ;)
The lineup looks very good and includes some recent coasters such as Lightning Racer and Deju Vu at SFMM. Before I spend my money though, can someone possibly review it who's already ordered it?

Until you get a parking space with your own name on it, you're still part of the GP.

Where is Goliath, MF, and SROS (SFNE)? I don't know of any public video that's sold to people on shelves that has these coasters. There are a lot of stuff they missed, including those mentioned above. These are Nitro, S:TUE, Boulder Dash, basically all of the 2000 and 2001 coasters that Goldhil needs to release on another video from their great selection.
well CoasterGuy, Goliath, MF, S:TUE have gotten a lot of attention in the past years.  I think its time for the smaller, most underrated coasters to get some attention.  SROS I have not seen much of and I am amazed.  Nitro and BD as well good rides need to get some footage and make a good video with them included. ;)

Top 5
1.) Beast 2.) Phantom's Revenge 2.) SROS (SFNE) 4.) SROS (SFDL) 5.) MF
Yeah, I thought it was odd too, but I'm not complaining, because there are several coasters on there that I've never seen. I got an e-mail, and ordered it, so I hope it will get here before Christmas.

Has anyone received their copy yet?  I'm curious to hear what it's like before ordering it.

Here is a review from Susan Daniel on RRC:

I finally got my copy of Roller Coaster Adventures on Saturday, thank
god before Christmas. The video was a wonderful new addition to my
collection of roller coaster videos.

It actually shows over 22 coasters, but the ad on the web site says
18; but anyway.

There was footage from Holiday World, which shows Legend and Raven.
There was full POV rides on both coasters as well as new shots of the
rides that I have not seen on TLC before too. There was also a little
with Will Koch too.

Next was KRAKEN at Sea World Orlando. This footage was great. It
mixed front POV as well as POV facing riders. Excellent music. This
coaster looks amazing and I cant wait to actually ride it. It also
shows opening ceremonies of the ride at Sea World with all these
freaky Las Vegas type showgirl dancers in these weird costumes. There
is additional bonus footage of Kraken after the ending credits showing
all these mimes riding it looks funny because no one is screaming.

Then you see Paramounts Carowinds which shows Top Gun, Vortex, and the
Flying Super Saturator. TOP GUN looks AWESOME. There are helicopter
shots of the entire ride as well as other angles and a full POV ride.
The mist filled tunnel during the batwing looks really neat. Vortex
is an early B&M standing with 2 inversions and then the suspended
Flying Super Saturator water coaster the name fits..totally drenched.

Next is Lightning Racer at Hersheypark. This coaster looks major
twisted. I saw a special on the making of it, but this new footage
and music is wonderful. There are numerous angles all over the ride
and wide angle shots to show the whole coaster. There is a full POV on
the left side. The music fits perfect.

Wildfire is next at Silver Dollar City. I have never seen this ride.
The footage is during the opening and a lot of ACErs are there. Full
POV and tons of coverage. Also is Buzz Saw Falls, which features the
pres pf Premier Rides and POV of the ride.

Hurricane Category 5 is next in Myrtle Beach, SC. Nice wooden
coaster with 2 double helix at both ends of the coaster. Full POV and
other shots. This was a shorter segment but a neat ride.

Déjà vu at SFMM..wow! This looks intense, when its backing up the
tower and you are looking straight down! This features POV and other
shots. Also is Riddlers Revenge, which I have seen before.

Wild Adventures is next and they show Cheetah, a wooden and Hangman a
SLC and Boomerang, shuttle. I have been here and the Hangman is
great. This is a smooth ride and you see the whole coaster as well as
full POV. Cheetah is a wooden with steel supports and again, whole
ride with full POV.

Paramount's Great America is next and it show Invertigo, Stealth and
their new wild mouse Psycho Mouse with POV forward and facing riders
too. Never been here but looks like a lot of fun.

Overall its a really good video. Less talk than those other 3-d
videos which is good and more shots of the roller coasters. The
ending credits show a full POV facing riders on TOP GUN at Carowinds
and then the bonus footage of Kraken.

I totally recommend this video and they sent a note to say what is
being featured in Volume 2. I will be getting that too. They said
they will have exclusive footage of Tower of Terror in Australia and
Expedition GeForce in Germany.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a good pick up.

do you have stairs in your house?
The video looks good except in all the coaster videos I have, 5 in all, they never, ever feature SFMW! I don't know why that bothers me so. They always show PGA, but never anything to do with MW which is a better park than PGA! But anyways, I might order it online and hopefully it's as good as it looks!
Cool, thanks for the info i'll be ordering that really soon
Thanks for the info, StarCoasters.  Guess I'll be placing my order now...

Brandon, look for reruns of "30 Coasters in 24 Hours?" to see plenty of footage of SFMW. its on the discovery channel.

Six Flags New England loses its "floor" for 2002!!!
Visit www.geocities.com/sfneguy for info. about SFNE!!!
I recieved, and watched my copy, and frankly, I was disappointed. The Legend, The Raven, Kraken, Lightning Racer, Top Gun, Deja Vu, and a few others were covered well with POV's and exterior shots. But the rest were either showed with no or very little background information, poor quality POV's, terrible angles with the camera on the POV's, no POV's, or they just mentioned them with barely any coverage at all. I was very disappointed with the coverage on Stealth. I wanted to see the whole ride, but they showed like 4 or 5 shots of the ride, and that was the end of the video. I wanted to see the POV too.

I guess it's worth watching to see the few coasters that were covered well, but was it worht 20 bucks? Heck no.

I watched mine and I thought it was worth it, but of course I may be a bit partial towards it because it featured so many coasters local to me (Top Gun, Super Saturator, Vortex, Hurricane). I thought the coverage was very nice.

I may be used to the in depth coverage of the Discovery Channel specials and the AGRCT videos as well...but I thought they could have given more details.
