New Universal gate would have significant impact on Orlando area

It's been more than 15 years since the last major new theme park — Universal's Islands of Adventure — opened in Orlando. That's been the biggest gap since the original one, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, opened in 1971. Industry experts say it's high time for a new one, and Universal Orlando is expected to deliver.
