seeing as the spinning coasters that aren't mice thread has gone more than a little off topic I thought I'd start this afresh as what I'm actually after is anyone who knows who made the thing?! Twister, vid clips & pics here

I think there is a company called EOS Rides, or something similar, building rides along these lines. It might be a Barbisan, but I am not positive as I haven't seen Barbian's vehicles in some time.

Yeah, the track layout for the traveling one looks really similar to the Mega Twister

Is that the thing that just goes in a circle with a helix in the middle? Someone had an onride video of that. I've seen it. They went around the circuit seven or eight times! The spinning looks like it'd be the only neat thing about it.

Yup, thats it!! Thanks!! It was that mega twister. I was amazed, this ride is tiny, yet its a lot more thrilling than the Reverchons!! You get a really good spin on the last corner, which is hardly banked... we had 4 circuits for our 1 ride...!

Colin -

Thanks for posting this. I too rode this at Heaton Park fair last month and didn't have a clue who the manufacturer was! *** Edited 3/5/2004 12:05:25 PM UTC by Martin V***

I thought it was pretty good for a UK travelling coaster. I'd never seen or heard of it previously - does anyone know when it was manufactured? I'd have been happy to go around thre or four times; the obviously bored rigid ride op sent us around eight times!
