Thanks M, those new pics are absolutly mouth-watering. If watching Graham Norton had not already convinced me to visit Dollywood, seeing that wood sure does! Imagine the night rides~

I loved that Graham Norton episode...especially the segment about the woman's beaver that was on display.

mOOSH [relax, people...it was a stuffed animal!]

As this ride progresses, I'm coming to think this may be one of the 'sexiest' coasters yet.
Okay, I know that sounds weird, but seriously... it's curves are just beautiful. I can't wait to ride that thing.

PS moosh... I'm sure we all assumed you were talking about a stuffed animal, as it wouldn't have caught your interest otherwise ;)

Hmm...I'm also attracted to the curves on this thing...which is raising some 'uncomfortable' questions for me. ;)

Actually, DM, with a name like 'ThunderHead' I think _I'm_ the one that needs to do a little self reflection.

I was gonna make a comment on its sister coaster being named Thunderthighs, but that was just embarrassing. Now, I realize I just said it anyway. ;)

Gee... Yet another Dollywood thread that has been hijacked! Damn that ride, "Twin Peaks"......

Thunderhead looks as if it will be one mean woodie. Can't wait until next spring to get a ride. Maybe this will finally get Dollywood some recognition in the coaster community.

Graham goes to Dollywood was hilarious. Loved the recurring jokes about Dolly!

Anyone who has not visited Dollywood, but is within a day's drive, should consider a visit in the future. The park itself challenges Busch Gardens Williamsburg and The Magic Kingdom in terms of beauty, and theming is taken to the extreme. The Employees are wonderful, as well as the Entertainment and overall park atmosphere. It is certainly one of the higher quality parks in the country.
