New Storm Runner Construction Photos

Bump! Just to let everyone know, there are "new" pictures up from November 13 here.

I've often wondered from time to time, how to write good poetry- and make it all... Work.
I like how their construction efforts didn't absolutely flatten everything near it. Especially in the 2nd to last pic on the right column, you can see that the hole dug for that footer was done no bigger than it absolutely had to be so as to not disturb the surrounding rides or landscape. Hershey's doing a great job of making sure this is high impact on people, low impact on environment!

Hershey is't like other parks that tear up the surounding ground to put in a new ride. Everything will look beutiful around the Storm runner as if it had been there for years. They will plant flowers and trees everywhere. It makes a nicer environment.

Anwyway, Scott B. Silar needs to post a few more pictures on his site. He hasn't for 22 days!

How long do the tracks on Top Thrill Dragster last?

The nylon on Dragster was completely replaced two or three times this past summer...I can't recall if there was a third time or not. But the composition of the nylon was changed around a bit, as well as the shape and size of it.

I hope Hersheypark doesn't have too many problems with Storm runner. They probably won't.

I was just there this past Sunday. The unload station is going up nicely, and the transfer track has been installed. They also have all the footers poured, and you can actually tell the path that its going to take. I know this is going to be a great addition for HP.

Does anyone know a good site that I can post photos on, so I can show everyone the prgress?
