New S&S coaster

I'm not sure if anyone has brought this up, and if they have, I'm sorry, but in last month's Popular Mechanics, there is a little blurb about a new S&S coaster. It's like a wild mouse, except it's hairpins turn upside down. There was a picture of it in the magazine.

Yes, it's been mentioned several times, it's referred to as a Screaming Squirrel, you can find info on it here: http://www.screamscape.com/html/s_s_power.html

Wow! Thats very cool! Do you think they will make a real coaster like that in a park?

They are planning on putting it in a park mil. force. I would just wonder where they load the trains.

As awesome as it looks, im not really all that intrested. Dont be surprised if a paramount park is the first to recieve one of these...they are always jumping on something "new" to brag about.

I don't know, it looks cool to me. It's like something out of a bizarre dream, where you mix sensations. Only Stan would actually bring the thing to life! Now, if only they get out the kinks on the first model sold...

Hate to say this...and even worse, I have to agree with 'Moosh....;) The only park I'd expect to get one of these in the near future is IF Stan gets his park up and running in Utah....I don't suspect anyone else has *what it takes* to be the first to get a ride THIS intense.

Hey Stan, I want to be the *first* person contacted when there's an opening in PR/Advertising/Marketing...:)

Wont they make the ride larger if they put it in a park?

On the picture on screamscape you will notice that the loading station should be on the second row of track up, the closest one to the bottom that isnt upside down. Notice the few cars sitting there? I think we need to drop Carowinds a few hints about this one ;).
The ride looks like it could be a nice indoor ride. Each level would be like a floor in the building, so when you go upside-down, everything is topsy turvey.

I saw a picture somewhere (S&S site, or at IAAPA) where they load at the bottom, ascend up a steep lift hill, and go through the circuit. at the bottom the tract takes a 180 degree turn, and then connects to the station.

Thats pretty cool and I did notice the drawing was wrong at the bottom of the page!

Thats crazy, that looks like a ride that would give you whiplash.........
I wouldn't mind riding that. Whether or not anyone will build it is another story.
I dont think that picture is wrong, notice the multiple cars on the second level up? I think they could load there and drop over teh edge to get to the lift hill, that would certainly be the most exciting way to leave the station yet! lol dropping straight over the edge. They could put the
queue right under the bottom level, that would be awesome looking down at all the people in line!
