New Six Flags Joker's Jinx Toy

I was at working in the toy dept. at Target today (okay, so now everyone knows where I work) and spotted a Six Flags toy that I had not seen before. It was in a blue/purple box with a Batman logo on it. The coaster was called "Joker's Jinx". The box and pictured coaster toy was a lot smaller than the others I have seen; probably standard track size, just a shorter track length.

The track was purple and black (not JJ colors) and the coaster car was in fact some kind of batman vehicle instead of a coaster car. What was totally weird about this toy was that the ride vehicle actuially jumped/launched off of the track at the end of the "ride".

Most Targets are the same. I found in the craft toy isle, of all places. It was only $9.99, half as much as I remember the other set's price. The box was pretty small but stood out due to the large Batman logo.

I am not going to buy it due to my poorness. I just thought I would let the toy fans know.

Not go get caught up on details but I thought JJ colors were purple and green.
I ment to say "not jj colors". oops. I will edit.
LOL....I gotta try & look for this some time.

At least the actual coaster from which this toy gets it's theme & name doesn't try to launch it's riders off the track hee hee, that would most certainly be bad for business at SFA if it ever did.

The almighty Google search revealed this page:

I wonder what SF....or SFA in particular has to say about them using JJ's actual ride logo?

Look at the box print & you'll also see another product using the B:KF name & logo from the former SFWOA,seeing as how that ride is soon to be re named by CF it doesn't matter about the use of it's former logo & name anymore.

Well given the fact the SF Logo is being used as well as the DC Comics logo one would think they licensed the use from them.
Looks like they're also coming out with a "Batman Knight Flight - The Battle for Gotham City" coaster toy as seen on the back side of the Joker's Jinx box. It looks a bit larger than Joker's Jinx and has a continuous track layout. I'm a sucker for these...too bad I can't afford the Coaster Dynamix sets.

I wonder if you can buy several sets and combine them together to make one hell-of-a launch coaster!!

There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

Yes, with the older Cool Coasters sets you can expand them and build them as big as you want. It looks like you can with the new Batman sets as well...or heck even combine the old and new sets for extra goodness.

I believe the one difference between the Cool Coasters sets and the Batman sets is that on the CC sets you can either make inverted coasters or regular "ride on top of the rails" coasters. The Batman cars are not transformable into inverts.
