PLK is a death trap! Have you seen the trains for thier galaxy? They have fences welded to the side of the train so riders dont fall out in the helixes. A friend that used to work there was electrocuted by the mic on THunder Bolt, and the park didn't want to send him to the hospital after the fact! The place is run like a carnival, rides are shut down by the state every time they come out to inspect... the place is a joke.
If what your saying is true, than the park does need to be shut down. I can't believe I am saying that, but this park sounds too dangerous. With some better management though, I'm sure the park could thrive.

On the subject about the Ferris Wheel incident, I still can't believe it was the park's fault. The rider had to have been doing something to cause the gate to pop open. And even if he hadn't, he still should have been able to stay in.

The park should be closed. I'm afraid of this park. I've been on the ferris wheel and thank god I lived. This place is a joke. Get some new management for the park. I doubt that happening because the owners are some rich family that lives in San Bernadino. So close it. Shut em down!
Maybe that rich family shouldn't be so cheap and put some more money into the park.

The park is owned by the Braswells family, I use to live near their mansion in the eastern Yucaipa area.

They own many resthomes for older people, and if you look at the quality of life these elderly people live in, you would know that money is in the highest interest for the Braswells.

Sadly I was hoping they would have to pay the full 5 mill, maybe they should look after their customers for a change.

Also for anyone not familiar with the area, many Redlands residence are not to fond of Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom, with good reasoning. Redlands is a beautiful city, and this crap park just ruins its look.

Hopefully the Braswells will learn a lesson here, and make some much needed changes.*** This post was edited by xboxizdope 2/9/2003 9:07:22 PM ***

That really is a shame.
