New Ride At The Point!

Me and my friend Adam Sand, a member of ACE, were on Power Tower and looked over the fence facing Corkscrew and saw two pointed cones. He also knows a lot of people in the park so he gets a lot of info. He says that Cedar Point is going to get 2 new rides. A B&M Flyer and some sort of flat ride. Also if anyone wanted to know the pieces looked like clown colors!

A flat sounds reasonable but certaintly not a coaster.

The reason Cedar Point is building two new rides is because they're trying to take some of the wait off of Dragster and Millennium. Also Dick Kinzel said he wants to go out with a bang in 2007 when he retires so he's going to build a 500 foot Intamin coaster similar to
MIllennium Force.

Yea, ok... they go about as good together as nuts & gum... and only Homer Simpson likes that.

There is no direct quote of Kinzel saying he wanted "to go out with a bang", that's kind of like the Purple-Monkey-Dishwasher game...
There is no reason to "take the wait" off of Dragster & Millennium Force because if it wasn't for the break-downs, the wait for Dragster would be almost always under an hour... and Millennium Force lines are always going to be the longest because it's the staple of the park.

BTW: Don't expect 2005 to be a coaster year. They need flats, plain & simple... that's the only area the park is sorely lacking.

Look around the internet DawgByte II because he did say that to the Sandusky Register and he is retiring in 2007, so why wouldn't he want to go out with a bang. Also since SFGA is getting the rocket coaster taller than Dragster he's probably going to build an even taller one.
