i have 56 k and it took me about 5 minutes

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

how can you call that 3-D? I can only view 2 colors at a time, and it usually goes all black every time i move. Also i can't even see a coaster, just lines, and thats only some of the time. Is it just my cpu or is that how it's supposed to be?

That's by design.... j/k

Nah, there are some problems here that are showing up for a select group of people. I think it's only effecting those people running win 95, 98, 98SE, and ME, but I'm still not sure why it's happening

When I fix the EXE file, I'll let everyone know. Until then, just stay put...

I downloaded it and it doesnt work? it shows all these lines and something that looked like a roller coaster but it was mostly a black screen?!

-----------------
Out of the coasters i've ridden here is what I rank them overall:(ive been to canobie lake and SFNE)
1. S:RoS 2. Yankee Cannonball 3. Riverside Cyclone 4. Canobie
Corkscrew 5. Thunderbolt 6. Galaxy 7. Mind Eraser 8. Dragon coaster 9. poison ivy's tangl

What improvements does it have?

Dark Helmet, Sorry bout that:( How does the program work?????? I downloaded it and i cant figure it out

I dont know how to do it

:(

I finally dl'd it. I have AOL too...so that's another reason. It took me about 5min. When I tried to open it it wouldn't let me so I just deleted it.

Mine is just balck when I open it! Why is that, cause I have Win 95 or what?

-----------------

Don't run it if you are using Win 95, 98, 98:SE, or ME. Right now, it only works on NT, 2000, and XP

If you are running any flavor of NT, then it should work perfectly.

I'm working on this problem right now...

great, no one runs those operating systems

why would you not design a program for the operating system that the majority of people have. Seriously who has NT? NETWORKS mainly, and very few people have 2000.

Why do you have to put him down HurricaneGeauga? He's spent countless hours on this thing, just for us and you go ahead a start slaming on him. Geeze, ever think that maybe he didn't realize about the problem in the first place?

Dark Helmet, i have ME and went ahead and loaded my park just to see if i could make out anything even though it was black and white, and i could make out the track to the wooden roller coasters and man, your doing a great job! keep up the great work!!! I can't wait to see it when you got the problem solved.

my second obsession

i applaud him on his effort, and am sure it looks great on NT, 2000, and XP. But why would you make a program that doesn't run on the operarting system that the majority of the pc population doesn't have.

So people with NT, 2000, and XP can make fun of us ;)

I have three computers in my house, one has NT, one has XP, and one has 2000. So i can run it on all of my computers! Does that count as making fun of you?

"why would you not design a program for the operating system that the majority of people have"

I hate to break it to you, but that wasn't exactly a design decision. The fact that it works only in NT is a development problem, and is not intentional at all. I changed both my development environments and APIs when I started writing RCTGL. Apparantly this made a significant difference in the long run.

The earlier versions of RCT3D worked both in 9x and NT, and I intend to keep that pattern going with RCTGL.

Finally a program that was designed to run in XP! I'm saved!

Excalibur Crew for 2002!

So when do you think you can fix it for "the majority of us"?;)

SFNE drops the "floor" on SFNE for 2002! Visit my new site, www.geocities.com/sfneguide for some great pics of SFNE and lots of other info.!!!

I'm trying to fix it as fast as I can. I'm asking the OpenGL development community for their opinions on the matter
