That's by design.... j/k
Nah, there are some problems here that are showing up for a select group of people. I think it's only effecting those people running win 95, 98, 98SE, and ME, but I'm still not sure why it's happening
When I fix the EXE file, I'll let everyone know. Until then, just stay put...

Don't run it if you are using Win 95, 98, 98:SE, or ME. Right now, it only works on NT, 2000, and XP
great, no one runs those operating systems
why would you not design a program for the operating system that the majority of people have. Seriously who has NT? NETWORKS mainly, and very few people have 2000.

HurricaneGeauga- Just in case
Why do you have to put him down HurricaneGeauga? He's spent countless hours on this thing, just for us and you go ahead a start slaming on him. Geeze, ever think that maybe he didn't realize about the problem in the first place?
Dark Helmet, i have ME and went ahead and loaded my park just to see if i could make out anything even though it was black and white, and i could make out the track to the wooden roller coasters and man, your doing a great job! keep up the great work!!! I can't wait to see it when you got the problem solved.

my second obsession
"why would you not design a program for the operating system that the majority of people have"
I hate to break it to you, but that wasn't exactly a design decision. The fact that it works only in NT is a development problem, and is not intentional at all. I changed both my development environments and APIs when I started writing RCTGL. Apparantly this made a significant difference in the long run.
The earlier versions of RCT3D worked both in 9x and NT, and I intend to keep that pattern going with RCTGL.
