Call me SpongeBobAlex.

sorry:Screen Shots

-----------------
Magnum is red,
Millenium Force is blue,
I love Wicked Twister,
and Raptor too.

Most of them look really nice though. Like the one with the loop coming out of the ground. I wonder how you do that? This is getting really exciting!

On La Vibora in screenshot 1 there are a few spots in the middle of the ride that looks like its probally a chain lift but it also looks like it could be brakes. The bobsleds never used to have brakes, could they possibly have them now
One more thing, could someone explain in detail what stacking scenery can like make those more relistic supports on wood coasters. I just don't get the whole stacking scenery thing one bit

It looks to me like they're just using a flat piece of lift hill as a sort of 'upstop' at the tops of inclines, in order to prevent the bobsled cars from flying off. It's a nice cheat to use when you don't feel like properly designing the ride to burn off its momentum.

Actually no. They are block brakes. You are making the mistake of comparing two different kinds of bobsled rides:

The RCT one (Mack bobsled) with it's train of cars like most coasters, and

the new for RCT2 Intamin single car ride.

The single car rides need lots of block brakes to run properly and have these in real life. It's one of the things that make the rides so boring compared to the Mack ones. You just start to get going and then slow down for another block!

Blocking is also part of RCT2. I've seen block brakes on quite a few of the rides. And it looks like they will factor into your breakdowns and your train can get stuck in them judging from one of the earlier screen shots. Probably my number one favorite thing about RCT2. It should be much more realistic!

Yes! No more station crashes!

Yes I'm 15, no I'm not childish, I'm not being sarcastic, well maybe I do have somewhat of an ego...

I wouldn't get your hopes up yet. I think there will still be crashes. But maybe handled a little differently...like if the blocking fails and a train is stuck in the block ahead and the train behind blows through it's block and crashes into the stuck train.

I do hope these types of things are a little less common in RCT2 though. Some rides crash WAY too often while strangely some others never crash at all.
