New RCT2 Release Date?

when is the new roller coaster tycoon? it's been a year since loopy landscapes was released, so that means that a new rct is probably coming out. but when though... :-/

Jeff's right -- we're hopeful that a new game is in development, but there's no realistic sign of one. You could check the official sites for both RCT and Chris Sawyer, presumably if there were going to be another game, it would be announced in some fashion. I know the RCT site hasn't been updated in forever, but who knows.

RCT2 is the same concept as Duke Nukem Forever. It's done "when it's done!"

Only difference is Chris Sawyer (or anyone else who is mean and evil who took the license away from him in some strange messed up way) hasn't even started the project!

Sawyer got sick of working on RCT, and is no doubt involved in another project.  Could be a few years before a true RCT sequel gets developed, if ever.
