New Question For those Who Have The Game

Does it in any way effect your old saved games like some of the official patches and add ons did? Sometimes after adding on you couldn't open old saved/hacked games. That is until Mr. Drexler did his thing . Also patches wouldn't work if you already had the Drexler patch.

Basically I want to know if I can still play RCT Loopy Landscapes with no problem if I load RCT 2 on my machine. I know I can't play RCT 1 with the RCT 2 disk.

You load it as a completely different program/game, so it doesn't interfere with your RCT1 in any way. It installs to its own directory/folder, just as if you were installing some completely different game.

All your RCT1 stuff will remain intact and unchanged.

Can you paly RCT1 parks in in RCT2?

I hope you can cause I have some cool parks I want to add RCT2 coasters to.

RCT1 parks cannot be used in RCT2.

But you can import the landscapes of the saved game in the scenario editor. I noticed a weird effect though! Try renaming a ride in your RCT2 park to one that was in the RCT version. It will say that the name of the ride is already in use! Weird huh? It's like it's there but it's not really there.
