New PKI Pics

I just wanted to inform anyone who cared that pki.com has a few new pics of the scooby ride. No new ones of delerium but new ones of scooby.

Very nice pics! Surprised to see Jeff standing in one. Shouldn't be knowing he's always everywhere in the park. LMAO. Can't wait!

Are they reusing the ride system for Scooby Doo? I didn't think they would because of the interactive features. (It is an interactive one, right?) Looks like the picture where Jeff is standing is the large theater room where there were all the "see through" ghosts were.

Jeff? Seibert? He the guy standing in that? That's cool. I met him over the summer. That building's starting to look really cool. I bet that ride's gonna be much fun.

Same cars, same track layout, just less cars and different programing.

Not completely correct. The guide rail underneath the cars was altered so that the cars will turn at different points and in different directions from Phantom Theatre.

An electric contact rail was also added under the cars so the guns will operate. Each car will have 3 guns.

The large black box room in which Jeff is standing was the Theatre scene from PT. The floor has been raised and the large glass panels removed. This will create the "Great Hall" scene in Haunted Castle.

By different programming I meant different movement. I was not completely aware of how they got them to turn

Ok, I have a question, Why did they make the cars with 3 guns. I bet if they wanted they could put in a 4th gun and have room. With 4 it would be a lot more suffienct for most families. I mean the average group at a theme park is probably 4 or 2. I guess the way they happen they might have a single rider line, maybe?

Or they just wont use one of the guns with groups of 2. Who knows?

That is some nice drywall, can't wait for the next update! Drywall is exciting! hehehe. I wanna see Delirium!

It's Giant, it's Inverted, it's a Boomerang, Beeyatch!

Well, how many peeps did they allow in a car as Phantom Theatre, I thought the standard was 2-3 Per Car. Nothing will have changed, and all sources indicate the ride will have modifictions made to it that will negate the fact it will only have half as many cars.

In other words, I don't see a single rider line as nothing will have really changed. If a family has 4 they will probably split them up 2 and 2.

Not that I know how to build a dark ride or anything, but was anyone surprised how bare it still is? It's almost the new year and it looks like they need to get the lead out! (Again, I know nothing about building a dark ride!)

I'm sure a lot of it is being built somewhere else and will just be brought in and put into place.

The loading in of the scenery/props/effects begins in early January and will take a very short period of time to assemble. A full crew from Sally handles the load in.

They allowed up to 4 if they could fit.
