New Pinfari & Zamperla Inverted Coasters!

http://www.coasterclub.org/en/photos/PinfariZamperla-May2001/index.shtml Has a Sea Serpent. Looks like a smaller version of a SLC.

The Zamperla is missing the mechanism for its spiral lift. The last photo shows a car which I can't figure out. There seems to be a pivot off the base. Perhaps it flips over like X, only under the track. It may also hold riders in the flying position.

The first six are the Pinfari - white track, yellow supports & yellow/black trains. The last five are the Zamperla - orange track & blue supports.

BTW, if anyone asks, I didn't know if this was old news or not & worth submitting. You can't have too many news items up can you?

Look at the 5th and 6th pics of the Pinfari... It looks like part of the coaster is on a flatbed truck. Question, is this a portable coaster???

If so, WOW! I hope to see this at the Orange or LA County fair this year!

"X" marks the spot in 2001!
Damn, that Pinfari ride looks INTENSE. Look at the track!! It's full of sharp turns and inversions scattered everywhere!
If you check out this site

It will give you all the stats for the Pinfari invert.

"I'm leaving on a rollercoaster . . ." oops "I'm leaving on a Jetplane . . ."
Stange, that looks like the logo of the Kansas State Wildcats on the coaster car.

There are currently 11 coasters with the name Batman, 8 with the name Superman and 22 with the name Boomerang. Batman and Superman: The Ultimate Chiller Knight Flight Krypton Escape Ride.
If it's trailer mounted it's definitely a portable coaster. I rode a portable looping coaster at a carvinal across from RFK Stadium in DC in 97'. I believe it was a Pinfari also. It only looped once and I think it cost $4 but you can never pass up a coaster!
Check this link out and read it vary carefully. You come up with your own conclusions.
