That ride is starting to take shape. But the construction seems to be a bit slow.

-----------------
This will be my 8th year at Valleyfair!
Theres no name yet, there is a rumor of a Batman and or Batgirl theme, but no one knows yet.
My school is having a trip to SFNE for a magazine drive for the second year straight. Last year was my first Superman ride, now this year will hopefully be my first new coaster ride.

Dam this thing is small. And why is the top of the loop not yet completed when they have done other sections of the ride already?
I don't know i was wondering that, why havn't they put the top of the loop in yet, its been like a month like that now.
I have no clue why the loop isn't done. The pieces for it are sitting right next to the base of it. Also, the sculpture of the station is up. Could that give us any hints as to the name of the ride?

SFNE loses its "floor" for 2002! Visit www.geocities.com/sfneguy for info. and pics of SFNE, including the most unique constr. pics of SFNE on the web. Formerly known as srosatsfne.
It can give us a clue, but the full name i dont think so.
Last year they didn't put the top of the loop on Deja Vu until the end. I don't know why they do this, but there must be some reason they do the top of the loops last.
there is a turn running through the loop like the Georgia Scorcher This turn is after the dive loop. To easily put the track in for this turn I was told by several sources they can't finish the loop since it would be very hard to put this track down that goes through the loop when the loop was constructed. this is because the crane couldn't just lower the track in place that goes through the loop since the top of the loop blocks this.

ight cool, i'm really liking this coaster, compact and it looks very intense.
Spincycle, I thought about that too, and it's the only possible way they can put the turn around track in there. This coaster really is small and compact. They'll have plenty of room to expand this park too. Hopefully, all of the parking will go on the other side of the road, which means a huge park!!

If they add the parking lot on the other side how much space in terms of Acres will be adding to the park?
Yeah, stand right under this thing and tell me its small! Lol. Trust me, its not.
they'll have enough but I think they will conserve space for as long as they can. Actually this has been discussed and I'm pretty sure the city wants to do some widening of bridges and local roads before the next huge expansion that SFNE has. It was also proposed that a parking lot may be built across the river with boats to ferry people across but that was just an idea of the park GM in July at the zoning meetings. I guess the next big project is going to be proposed for SFNE will occur in 2004 but no one knows what it is or where it's going. However, on the positive side the town of Agawam is starting to appreciate SFNE now and they have stated that they are a "very good neighbor" at the previous zoning meeting so the town of Agawam will likely not disrupt SFNE's expansion plans, in fact they were willing to pay with the state for the widening of the local roads and bridges.
