I'm not trying to sound negative but do you realize how many people just lost jobs in the airline industry? Last I heard it was around 100,000! If that many people are being laid off or let go, do you really think there's any hiring going on?

Are you sure that is the right Boomerang, because the one at WOF is orange. In the pics its red.

I see where your coming from Gonchar but I don't think Joel was fired the way its sounds. The Taliban will pay dearly for this. America won't go down without a fight.

Yeah, that's the right picture because I've seen it in person before. As to why it looks a little red, I'm not quite sure about...

Don't look down-Oblivion

The last thing I wanted to see on this forum was a discussion of my personal life. However, since you guys keep asking, I feel that I must respond.

As of today, I am still flying. However, I have received notice that I will be fuloughed. Since my airline plans for staffing about three months in advance, and the fact that it takes several months to train a pilot for a new position, the job cuts will not happen quickly. My airline has announced that the layoffs will be spread over eleven months. There is no shcedule for recalling employees. Because nearly every other airline is laying off employees, the odds of finding another flying job are grim at best.

I will be soon looking for another job. Since avation is my only training and experience, I will have a difficult time. I only wish that I could make a living riding or photographing coasters!

Now as to the issure of the Boomerang pictures: That is most definately the ride at WOF. The lighting or film I used might gave given the pictures a red color, but I GUARENTEE that is the Kansas City model in my pictures.

So has anyone found any more hidden pictures on www.CoasterGallery.com?

Sorry to bring your personal life in this Joel. So I guess theres no real future for coastergallery. I think you should exept submissions from people so you can keep the site going. Let other people take the pics and e mail them to you.

Don't know where to find a job doing it or how the pay would compare to flying but if you worked for a theme park magazine you could be a photographer. Thats what I thought you did before because I never thought of flying to parks. Nevermind just thought you were a photograpther.

Um.......guess again! So there won't be many new pictures this winter. In the meantime, you can fix your track record! :) (I would personally respect the contributions of someone who has ridden only 3 coasters and lists them in his/her track record MUCH more than someone who makes up an elaborate track record)

About magazines: Many of our pictures are in Magazines, and have been for quite some time. First Drop, RollerCoaster, ACE news and the like don't pay for pictures or articles. They are the product of hard working folks (especially the editors!) who contribute because they love rollercoasters.
