New photos of Scooby props being installed at PKI

Go to www.pki.com and follow the Scooby construction links. There you will see the begginnings of what should be a great new attraction.... I am still trying to figure out what Mr. Siebert is trying to do in one of those photos ;-)

Shaggy

Nice! They've made a lot of progress. It was pretty much just an empty building in the last set of pics!

The big shots are obviously using him as model to figure out placement of body positions of the monsters.

Jeff ALWAYS has to be the center of attention. Not a bad thing at all. ;) I too Shaggy am trying to figure out what he's doing though. ***Priceless***

Just one of the many questions we will have to find the answers to very soon........

Very soon indeed...............

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the update Shaggy!

I am just really jealous of the fact he gets to have so much fun at his job. Hilarious guy.

A one that is not cold, is hardly a one at all.

Sean,

Last night I turned on the TV and it was on TLC. Well they had some show about a baby being born and they introduced the doctor.... Mr. Sean Flaharty!!!!

I nearly fell off the couch!

I didn't know you had such a demanding job ;-)

I don't know if I can wait until Spring to see these attractions up close. Oh, well.... I guess patience is a virtue....

Shaggy

Wow. I am pleased to see that construction is moving along excellently in the building, but my question is why are they digging up the foundation? Other than just to check it for leaks. Unless they do intend cutting that corner out like it was in the artwork. We shall have to wait and find out later.

I hope this means a Delium update is forthcoming. I am anxious to see about that.

I thought maybe they will have a little moat or something. I doubt that very highly but just an idea.

The cleveland browns suck, if its brown flush it down, Go Bengals!

My guess is that Jeff is installing himself as a permanent fixture in the ride. I'll bet he's worth a lot of points.

My advice? Aim for the hardhat. *lol*

Chris

Thanks for posting, Shaggy.

The ride looks great! Does anybody know if major construction has begun on Delirium yet? Anyway, any news on PKI is appreciated in the dead of winter.....

Waiting for Spring,

Ahem......I prefer to be called a thrillologist thank you very much.

Funny, I do that frequently, but usually when I am playing Grand Theft Auto : Vice City.

Well, you know, introducing thrills to kids at a early age can do wonders for their college years.

I don't know if I can wait until Spring to see these attractions up close. Oh, well.... I guess patience is a virtue....

.....and a virtue sometimes takes the form of a big white van (whatever that means)

Well, just to let all of you know, PKI posted some new pictures (from the 9th of January) today. They have the "Fright Light`s" installed on the cars. Also, in some of the pictures you can see Shaggy. This ride looks like it is going to be awesome. I wander what they are doing with the footer outside of the old entrance to Phantom Theater.

Theres MORE new ones! Just taken today. (the ninth). Go check em out. I think Jeff might be getting beat by that skeleton...he looks pretty confused. :)

And what is this I see?.......

Is that David Mandt in one of the shots???

-Sean (finally, the world gets to see David!)

I think I might hafta take "sharp shooting" lessons from David. He looks like he knows what he's doing. Glad to see he got in a picture too.

-Charlie Weingartner

I'm starting to miss Phantom Theatre a lot less as the theming is looking phenomenal and the shooting aspects should make it a real hit and, even more importantly, reridable by all ages.

-Danny, can't wait for April!!

When I read this, I went to PKI.com looking for Shaggy. I was expecting to see "Our Shaggy" ,but the photos of "the other Shaggy" were just as rewarding.

It looks to me they are building a Castle. I wouldn't know why????

CBCon Quote "We didn't even get wet"......30 seconds later you hear plop, then splash!!!!

I want a moat with some fog. That'll just fighten the little kiddies even more and leave the line shorter for me.

Tyson - who loved walking past Phantom Theatre and laughing when the parents drag their kids kicking and screaming into line.

Wood Rules!

I still wish PKI would have gotten the Wild Mouse this year.......
