The NoLimits downloads have been expanded at COASTERnet with nearly 20 new coaster tracks, the majority of which being recreations of real coasters. Among the recreated tracks are Georgia Scorcher, HyperSonic XLC, Six Flags America's Superman: Ride of Steel and Intamin's Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm.

Also, there are tracks created by "Unknown." What are these guys doing? Going to other sites, downloading the tracks, and not asking permission, so they just put "unknown" as the creator? *** This post was edited by TrBiggar on 8/5/2002. ***
Good points. I take in on faith that when someone submits something like this it won't be junk. I guess now I'll have to download them and see for myself.

TrBiggar, first of all I would NEVER, I repeat NEVER even consider 'stealing' content from another site. EVERY track has been either submitted, or created by myself. The tracks created by 'Unknown' have been submitted to the site, but the name of the creator lost one way or another, and rather than taking the entire track down, I would hope for the creator, if possible, to come forward.
Second, I don't know what you're basing your judgement of the tracks you downloaded sucking on, but, for being recreations, they are up to high standards of accuracy as far as I can determine... After all, you can't make a recreation any better than the actual ride and have it accurate, can you?
I spent a month mastering NoLimits before attempting my recreations (Georgia Scorcher, HyperSonic XLC, Superman, Xcelerator), and I tried to create the tracks as accurate and smooth as possible.
It's hard to juggle between 3 hours daily of HTML work, site webmastering, NoLimits designing, editing and additional work, but I try to and I try to do everything to the best of my abilities.
But I'll take everything into consideration and would appreciate it if you could check out all of the tracks before making such a general judgement.

ok that flat out pisses me off, the deja' vu that "kyle" made is actually MY deja'vu that me and some other dude made like 9 months ago
Pki-goer, I swear on my life that EVERY track was submitted by one individual or another.
Through the internet, there is no possible way to verify the creator of every track submitted. I always check the text in the editor for the creator's name.
How do I know that you created it? How do I know that you aren't lying now? The answer: there's no way to know for sure. That's where faith in other people comes in.
From this point on, I am placing a notice on the page specifically addressing this issue. And if you want your X-Flight track taken off, I'll do it as soon as you tell me.

Freak, contact the person who submitted those tracks about it, not me:

im gonna contact him you can be sure of it, but its your responsibility as the webmaster to take off stolen tracks from your site. if your going to leave it up fine, but give ME credit for my hard work and not "kyle" for his hard work consisting of deliberatley stealing my work and claiming it as his own... *** This post was edited by *Freak* on 8/5/2002. ***
With great power comes great responsibility, that I know. I removed it the second I found out.
Thanks.
