CoasterPics.com just opened the other day with a large selection of pictures from Six Flags Great Adventure's new ride, Nitro.

Hey, your site doesn't seem to be working.

Keep trying back - it's getting pounded right now.
Very nice pics! Great shots of Nitro. That coaster looks amazing. Too bad I live in California. Oh well, we're getting X and Deja Vu, plus V2, so we should be all good. ;) Anyways, great site. I like all your pics. Keep em coming! Peace. :)

Medusa at Marine World: the best coaster in the west!
great pics!! Seems you get every piece of the rides photoed.
Nice site. Cool pics. The Nitro station looks like crap.

IT'S ALL AROUND THE WORLD JUST LA,LA,LA
Did I say that I love B&M? OK...
Wow, that ride looks amazing, especially that one overbanked turn. I do agree that the station looks bad, but "who cares?" I say :)
OMG! That looks incredible! That hot pink doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. It actually starts to grow on you! I am just thankful that I will be in the area this summer and will get to ride it!!!

Look at this picture...

Is it me, or does it look like the paint is already wearing away? Or is that how it always was?

Those can't be actual pictures!!! the track looks like a painting?!?!

Sonny #1(even though it hurts like crap)
yea the track is wearing away hehe, I guess thats the real reason why b&m doesn't paint the running rails on most of their coasters (aside from the fact that it looks good). i would guess that by the end of the season they will be completely gray.

On Hypersonic: XLC, ther are spots on the turn-around, where all the paint is wearing away. In the morning I could see little flakes flaking off!

This wonderful post was brought to you by the CoasterBuzzer formally known as MindBender!
That isn't really the paint wearing away. It is just the area of the track that was sanded down to make the joints between the pieces of track smooth.
Nitro looks so tight! The first drop looks like the best part of the whole ride! Too bad I live in CA, but Marine World may get a coaster even better next year! Also, we have X, Deja Vu, and Vertical Velocity!

Medusa at Marine World is the best floorless anywhere!
Just got back from Great Adventure today. That is one heck of a ride. And the station doesn't look bad when you get there. That metalic rust look contributes to the themeing. It is hard to explain but when you go through the queue you will understand. Great Adventure just keeps getting better and better!! First, Medusa then Hurricane Harbor and now NITRO. WHOOHOOO. I am happy I live in New Jersey.
I never thought someone would ever be happy to live in NJ. :P
I live in New York and just visited the park over spring break. Nitro is incredible! The first drop is unbelievable and looks alot steaper when your on it! I want to keep this short so the best hills are the 1st 3rd 4th and the last bunny hill. This ride totaly blows away medusa and anyother coaster in the park, or on the east coast!
Every time I go to great adventure, Viper never seems to be running. Does anyone know why this ride never runs?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yo,six flags is gonna get 2 new rollercoasters next year. A Deja Vu and a Special Flying Dutchman. the Deja Vu will be in the place of elvolution and the flying Dutchman in place of viper. But the name would probly be Viper. Check it out 4 yourself at www.thrillride.com/WildRumors/WildRumors5.html
Im new to the coaster lingo. What is a flying Dutchman?
