The pictures give you a bird's eye view from the very tip top. 310 feet to be exact.

Check em' out at www.cedarpoint.com and look under "current construction photos."

Cedar Point this, Cedar point that. Shut up with Cedar Point and it's "Great" location. As far as I'm concerned you just cant beat Magic Mountains location. There is nothing around and infinite space to build. Come out west folks and give it a try.

who's all going to preveiw day may 7
i'am .
i live in port clinton (about ten minutes to cp)
at my school we had a job fair and cedar point was
there and i asked to one the guys from cp
"what are you guys building after this year"?
he said "for sure it's going to be a big rollercoaster"
and i said "what kind " and he said "can't tell"

my questions are where first . and second what do you people
think there going to build in the future.
actually CP does have a land problem.
they would have to tear down something or magically put a coaster in something like MF.
PKI doesn't realize they have potental to build all the best coasters.
I agree with XT-DarkT. unless there was a way to extend the land at CP, they are pretty skimpy on their land availability. PKI definately has the advantage.

On the other hand, i must agree with Jeff. The land that CP sits on is a great asset to the park. it is awesome to see lake Erie from the top of the Magnum. Being on a peninsula definately adds to the thrill, despite the shortage of land.

Screamondeamon- I find it very interesting that you say that the Raptor and Mantis are the two best coasters at CP, and you don't include them in your track record. Conspiracy? I think not. And for you Revoulutionary, you make some of the most assainine comments I have ever heard. What do you mean "Whats the Big deal about the Millenium Force?", it is undoubetdly going to be one of the best coasters ever. If you people have no knowledge about roller coasters and the amusement park idustry, I suggest you stop posting comments on this web site.
I guess since I dont live in OHIO, I dont know anything about coasters. However its seems that none of you has ever been to Magic Mountain. Quit talking like you know the best rides till you go to the parks with the best rides. Am I the only person who's been to Cedar Point, Magic Mountain, and PKI?? And I stress again, whats the big deal with Millenium Force? Don't go around assuming things people. Ride the ride then make a decision. Tallest and fastest does not equal best.

Revolutionary: I'm not sure I understand why it is you're so angry toward everyone. Clearly you feel strongly about the parks in your area, and so does everyone else. People have opinions, differing from yours doesn't make them wrong.

Regarding Cedar Point and space, we've been through it a hundered times over on Guide to The Point, but rest assured that the park has plenty of space to build new things.

My guess is that Cedar Point will eventually-and I mean eventually-not right away-will move their parking lots to the "main land" and all of the parking lots will become attractions. They will have to have some type of shuttle service to the park-perhaps there will be some thrill ride you could ride to get into the park? Who knows? CP will do anything to be the best park in the country.

I don't recall being mad, there ya go assuming things again. Im just politely saying, dont say the best ride in the world is Magnum Force. If you believe it to be, then say "My Favorite Ride" is whatever. By the way MY favorite Stand Up coaster is Mantis, in OHIO.

Good idea Jeff YOUNG. It could work the way the shuttles do at other parks. But a thrill ride I dont see happening.

To Revolutionary:
Ohio must be doing something right. Cedar Point has won Best Park by numerous magazines for many years in a row. Can you say that about Magic Mountain? I bet you haven't even been to Cedar point, have you? Now, I can't say bad things about Magic Mountain, i've never been there, but it looks awesome on TV!!! We don't put down your parks, so please don't put down our awesome, amazing, butt-kicking parks! (Just Kidding).
Just give CP a chance, you are sure to change your opinion.

First off, I dont remember putting down CP, I went there and loved it. Anyways last summer I went to Cedar Point, Kings Island, Canada's Wonderland, and Kings Dominion. Cedar Point was by far the best and I would go back anytime. So come on out west coasterbuff and try our parks, Califonia welcomes you. Besides ya gotta go to Disneyland for the Ultimate in themeing.

Tell ya truthfully, I don't care what park is rated number one. As long as I'm in a park that has coasters, I'm a happy camper!!!

Cedar Point is a very wonderful amuesment park, I think the thrill ride shuttle thing is a great idea. They could just make another sky ride if you know what I mean
I have to agree with Revolutionary. Everyone is saying that MF is the best. How do we know this. I remember thinking that Star Wars: Episode 1 was going to be the best. I was wrong it was the WORST!!! I think that all of the HYPE surrounding the ride is going to make ride a disappointment for some. The HYPE is going to make everybody's expectations really high, then if the ride fails to deliver then you will think it sucked. I for one will go into the ride not expecteding much, that way when I climb aboard I am not likely to be disappointed. CP ranks as MY favorite park, and Raptor as MY favorite coaster.
