They posted some new pics(finaly), of grand rapids water ride construction, and the new coasters diner.

Those have been posted for about a week. Looking forward to seeing the park this spring!

I just love the name "Grand Rapids"! Absoluetly the best rapids name out there right now!

I wonder where they got the name. ;)

It will be interesting to see if this one has any thing unique or new for the genre. It is pretty rare that one of these gets built since most parks have one by now.

They really need to plant some trees around that ride when it's done.

Yea, basicly the park is a really big field. I have to say though, that since cedar fair has taken over the park there has been a lot of landscaping done to the park.

Where are the arguments about CF turning everything they touch into a concrete jungle? ;)

CF planted a ton of trees, The year they took over. it was still pretty bare but it's gonna take ten years to get some beauty anywhere.

To it's credit. it wasn't CF's fault nor the Jourdans, But high winds that destroyed most of the trees there.
