Guide To The Island had its official launch on April 1, 2001. The Guide has extensive information about Paramount's King Island, including a searchable history section. The site offers travel information and tips to enhance a visit to the park.

Great site - especially the history. Is it my imaginagtion or has PKI had and removed more flat rides than any other park in the last 30 years? It certainly seems like from the list.

This is excellent, this will be great for when I take my very first trip to PKI in June so it will be very handy for me, Thank you to the person who made it:)
Your welcome! It was my pleasure, and the best part about it, the site still is not complete, I only have about 80% of the park history online, I just wanted to get the launch over with. More history will come in the next week. And yes, they have removed a TON of flat rides.

What a great job, Shawn! Good to see it open! And thanks for the link inclusion! I've returned the favor.

Yes, Kings Island has removed enough rides to allow someone to create a dandy little park somewhere! "I can't find Bavarian Beetle 1!"
