New Jersey Coastal Parks

My final stop on a Cedar Point, Kennywood, Hersheypark, Dorney Park trip will be the Atlantic City area. I know that there are some small amusement parks on the coastline of New Jersey. Could you please give me some ideas as to what is within a short drive of Atlantic City that would be worth visiting. Unfortunately we won't have time for SFGadv. Thanks in advance.

Atlantic City only has Steel Pier(wild mouse, and a kiddie coaster). Just south of AC is Ocean City with a couple of small piers: Gillians(City Jet and a kiddie coaster) and Playland(kiddie coaster,Flitzer,Wild Mouse, and Python), then a little further south is Morey's Piers in Wildwood. Morey's has the most to offer in terms of Jersey shore amusement parks(7 coasters including Great White which is a nice CCI layout).

Hope this helps.

Shame, growing up in Jersey the only place we ever coasted was SFGAdv, and all the time I wasted at the shore NOT riding coasters. I'm sure AJ will be along to assist you in your decision shortly....;). I will get to Morey's next time I visit family that way.....can get enough of them CCIs.....
Yeah there's a lot of small parks. Also, more north than Steel Pier is Seaside Heights. This island has both the Steel Pier and Funtown Pier. Both of these piers are kind of cool, the coasters aren't great though. But they have nice dark rides and flat rides. Also, go on Wednesday for wrist band days cause it can get expensive.
