New Height Restriction for MF

There has been a 2001 height restriction change for MF and is going to be changed to 48 inches. what do ya think about it?
I personally couldn't care less.
My only concern is that the lines might get even longer. I've seen some pretty brave kids between 54in. and 48in.
FANTASTIC!!! I really wanted this to happen. It will open up a whole new dimension for those who could only stand and watch this season.

Arrow Guy, Why did you want this to happen? Unless you have kids I don't see how this can be a good thing. All it can lead to is longer lines.
Right, longer lines can be a problem even magnum still has long lines an it is going on 12 for 2001 so that show that MF will probably be the same way and the lines were already unexceptable for many people this year but its a great ride!

My family and I are going to CP next year and my 6 year old brother wants to go on it. He is 51 inches tall so now I can tell him he can go on Millennium Force. Oh, what a bitrhday present for him!!! He will be sooooooo excited!

I think CP should have done this when they first opened the coaster.
To me MF is just a very large and super smooth mine ride,it just lacks the intensity other coasters have.
Even though the 48" height restriction will open up MF to alot of younger kids, (and kids this height are young), I personally think that the parents will be a deciding factor on whether or not their child will ride. Even though they are tall enough, are they mentally ready. Sure it is fun, and I would love to ride all coasters with my child, but I would not put my 6 year old daughter on something I thought might be too intense for her, even if she meets the height restriction. Age has alot to do with it.
From looking at the difference between the Magnum queue and the Raptor queue, I think the reduction in minimum height from 54" to 48", while it makes the ride available to a lot more people, may also make waiting to ride a little more pleasant...

I'm actually quite okay with that as long as it's been tested for safety for the 4' to 4.5' bracket. I just hope that it is safe for the little kinderlach.
