New Gerstlauer Eurofighter in UK

Another winner in a creative name category: SPEED, new Gerstlauer Eurofighter with a 97° drop is now nearing completion. It ws planned to be built last year, but for some reason it was delayed.

The ride is built at Oakwood, home of the wonderful Megafobia woodie.

Its a custom design which is exceptionally high (115 ft/35m) compared to its forerunners. It has two inversions and an overbanked turn. It looks massive!

Gerstlauer really seem to be continueing the Schwarzkopf tradition with their loop design looking much more circular compared to the more teardrop-shaped outlines of B&M and also Arrow/Vekoma.
They seem to be inclined towards "filling the envelope" force-wise.
