New Entrance in Sandbox or Scenario Design (RCT3)

Pardon me if this has been discussed and I missed it...

The way it looks, the entrance type and location can not be chaned in the Sandbox... but is there way to change this when creating your own scenario?

I'm wondering that as well,so far I've tried to create one new scenario &* the map loads exactly as it does in sandbox(with the entrance in place) unlike RCT2 where you had to place the entrance yourself.

I've alaso had problems trying to enlarge the map using the grid system,RCT2's was so much easier to adjust as far as map size is concerned & last but not least I saved the scenario(to work on later) & can't find it in the saved scenario folder at all....the only parks I can find are the two I made in sandbox mode.

Yes, you just use the trashcan Icon to delete (I'm sure there is an easier way, I just don't feel like finding it right now), then go under scenery and go to the park enterance icon, and you have differant enterances and teh little arrow to tell the peeps where to come in from. make sure that at least a couple path spaces are on non-owned land, as well as the arrow.
I figured out how to delete it... but I couldn't find how to place a new Icon.

Thought I tried that.... I guess I didn't have it quite right.

I'll try it again.

Thanks.

The entrances and entrace points are going to be under your scenery menu.
Thanks for the tip,now I can make double wide entrances like those in RCT2.

Slightly off topic but why is it on the B&M coasters when you go to select the color scheme the ties end up matching the support color? for example if I use the new B:TR or dominator color schemes I end up with yellow spine, blue supports & blue ties, when what I want is yellow spine, blue supports & yellow ties.

Okay... found it under scenery as stated. No problem.

One gripe while trying to make a new scenario...

While it does look neat that there are hills (or mountains, or islands, or what ever scenery you select) in the background, I kind of like how in RCT1 and RCT2 the world just sort of ends at the end of your map. When building scenarios, the fact that RCT3 does't let you build between your map and the distant background kind of bugs me.

Also... NO FORREST Option when placing trees? Ugh! I liked plopping down a 10x10 square random sprinkling of trees in RCT2 better than having to place trees one by one in RCT3.

Other than that... its okay.

Funny thing about trees...I placed a few in a park & at the same time had them appear outside the park fence, what's up with that?
It does that automatically. There is an option that allows you to 'turn off trees outside of park boundries' or something. I have that checked.
I'll do that next time I load my game & see what happens.
