New England Trip Question

I'm planning a trip in June to some New England parks mainly for S:ROS and Boulder Dash. What I was planning, to make sure I did most good things in the New England area, is to go to SFNE, Lake Compounce, Great Escape(it's free), and Canobie Lake Park(for Yankee Cannonball. My main question is if it is worth it to go all to Canobie just for Yankee Cannonball. It is going to be a four day trip so I could either just spend that day at SFNE too or is there another better park within only 200 miles of SFNE? I am planning to go to SFNE at some point of all the days I'm there anyway, so it isn't like I won't have enough time for plenty of re-rides on S:ROS. Also any advice on lodging would be greatly appreciated.

How far is Great Escape from Boston anyway?

I would DEFINITLY RECOMEND CANOBIE, its GREAT, its THE classic amusment park and Yankee Cannonball is THE best Woodie!...Definitly don't pass it up, you wont regret it!

#1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!! M/M's top 10 coasters: 1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Boulder Dash 3. Montu 4. Yankee Cannonball 5. Kumba 6. Gwazi 7. Mind Eraser 8. Thunderbolt (SFNE) 9. Cyclone (SFNE) 10. B:DK
For what it is worth... this past summer we visited 9 parks from Ontario to Maine (Marienland, Martins, Seabreeze, Great Escape, Canobie, Funtown, Palace Playland, Lake Compounce, Rye Playland) and Canobie was the "pleasant surprise" of the entire visit.

One of the cleanest parks of the entire trip

One of the best looking parks of the entire trip

Definately the best customer service of the entier trip

One of the best wooden coasters of the entire trip

Boulder Dash can be a bit underwhelming until later in the day...try to plan your trip so that you visit Compounce when it's open past 8pm, if possible.

Also, Quassy Lake Amusement Park is a short 20 min drive from Compounce. An hour should nab you the two credits there.
