Does anyone know another wooden coaster that has that type of first drop?! Geeze!

I would love to see Oaks Park here in Portland ,Oregon get one of these!
Obviously, this won't be even remotely as rough or wild as the coaster I'm about to compare it to, but bear with me. These pictures make me think of: Crystal Beach Cyclone. Now, the rides have virtually nothing in common, and the layout is not even close to the same, but still...some of those pictures just seem like they would fit on the CBC. Am I out of my mind?

How long is the coaster? Seems pretty short, but looks like fun. Cheetah is the one I want to ride, that one looks as intense as Raven.

CCI is aboslutely insane. Jesus.....just look at that first drop. no other coaster designer is doing stuff even close to what CCI is doing right now. Jesus, can you imagine the air on the first drop in the back?

Yes, jan, and the cars have all been refurbished/repainted for the season on the Tig'rr (Jetstar). Support structure (white) also being repainted.
Sending u a pic....IB Dave
Ahh...georgeous. Gets me all nostalgic about the old Jetstar at Santa Cruz. However, they remodeled the cars in the 70's. I like both. Thanks for the pic!

I love Indiana Beach. First the 'Hurricane, now this! CCI is once again proving that there's more than just corn in Indiana! ;)

It looks small, but it looks really good. But really the thing is it could barely even be considered a woody. Of course it has wooden track, but it has all steel supports. Whats up with that? Also where did they get the name Cornball Express? It's so corny.
BTW those are some great pics Glitchey, and I'm suprised how close you could get to it. Thanks for them. Wouldn't CP just be the ultimate park with a huge CCI with an awesome layout like Cornball?

"This time I think ... I think It's ... going to work!" - Dr.Bruce Banner
Keep in mind, IOA Rules, that Indiana Beach is "landlocked" and the only way they could get a major coaster in is one with a steel superstructure, thus the Hoosier Hurricane which was built over rides and water and displaced no other attractions. The amazing thing CCI did with CornBall Express was to engineer it using part of HH's superstructure including going through the ride.
As for the name, Hey! We're Hoosiers!!!

25 summers at the place and you'd think I get a gold watch....instead another wooden coaster. Life is sweet!
IB Dave, could you send me the pic of the cars? I've been waiting for those to get worked on! I love IB...improvements and Cornball!
