New Construction photos for WWB, SDC, and CCity

[MiG] Midwest Information Guide, has updated the site with new pics from the Branson Silver Dollar City Inc Parks. The park is quickly progressing and it is quite interesting to see this new park be "born." Also new parts to Wilderness Waterboggan have arrived at Silver Dollar City. And lastly Raging River Rapids slide complex at White Water Branson is nearing completion. Check all of the progress out at MiG!!!

Thanks, Swoosh! Question...why are the pics so dang small? Even when I click on the thumbnails the larger pics aren't that much larger. Or is it my settings?

Wow, that GCI is starting to look *very* wicked. Too bad there isn't a chance that I can go there this year.

Moosh just right click the pic and open it in a different screen. It shows the actually size that way.

Just for you, I have chenged the settings on the pictures, and they will now pop up in their own window when you click on them. Let me know if you have any other problems. I do think that it might be your settings though. I tried several different computers at campus and then at my friends' houses - they all had it looking the same way. I don't know. ;)

They're great pictures, but, there should have been a warning—Not for Dialup modems. I think it took 15-20 minutes for the pictures to load, and I actually gave up on the photo 2nd from the top. The files just need to be smaller, or someone needs to pay for a high-speed modem for me:)

Those are some great pics!

When do both parks open?

Intamin Fan - I appologize that they take long to load on dialup - my ethernet doesn't seem to have problems. In fact dial up isn't even offered here in Kirksville anymore (well you can get an out-of-town carrier, but broadband is actually cheaper in the long run).

Sparky, SDC opens March 18, CC opens first weekend in May, and I think WWB opens last weekend in May.

Yes isn't Missouri a wonderful state (or at least south west MO). We get to ride a Beemer in the Midwest while all the OTHER seasonal parks are still shuttered. :)

LOCATIONS NEAR AND ALONG THE OZARK PLATEAU...INCLUDING THE SPRINGFIELD AREA...CAN EXPECT ACCUMULATION RATES OF NEARLY 3 INCHES PER HOUR THROUGH 5 PM. You guys are such pansies down there in SWMO. A little bit of snow and the businesses clsoe down. Up here in NEMO, that is NOT the case at all. :( Yes I am jealous

Does anyone know how much the Cat is going to cost Celebration City? It is an impressive mess of lumber, isn't it?? Great photos.

There's nothing like a woodie...

Cat is around 4 million, here is a link to a local Springfield Missouri newspaper article where the figure comes fromhttp://themeparksonline.org/tponews.asp?ID=2330
