Wow!!! Did anyone catch the portable inverted coaster "Eurostar"? Its amazing that thing travels from carnival to carnival. It looks to be an Intamin coaster based on the design of the OTSR's. The stats on this thing are pretty much equal to Batman:TR.

108 ft. lift hill, 4 inversions, 3000ft of track. 4 across seating.

They have really come a long way with carnival coasters even though this particular coaster looks like a permanent fixture for an amusement park. AMAZING!!

Wow!! That EuroStar is sick. A full-blown invert on hauled around in only 85 truckloads of steel. A full vertical loop, nasty twists, and lots of headbashing. Perfect.

Did you see how much more steady the camera was on Colossus than it was on the much smaller Thunder Coaster?

The show wasn't bad. It was informative, and littered with good clips. I finally got all of my parks and coasters straight for Europe. Eurostar looks a little rough, would you say so?

I take back my thanks. that was the worst show I've ever seen. I want that hour of my life back! half the rides on there didn't deserve to be on, there were some coasters that I've heard a lot about that weren't on the list (including Torne De Zues and Stampedia), the host did some of the worst comentating I've ever heard (including Paul Heyman and Michael Cole), half of the cameras on the rides looked to be no better than camcorders held by a GP, and they gave away several of the upcoming coasters before they even went to the break! if you missed this show, don't worry. it wasn't worth watching. if you're bored out of your mind and its on, you may want to catch it for Nemesis, Oblivion, Colossos, and Megaphobia, but even then you can probably find the same stuff on-line. thumbs way down.

edit: since when did Arrow start making wooden coasters? they said that Thunder Coaster was made by the same people as Pepsi Max Big One. nevermind, RCDB says that Vekoma did TC and Arrow did PMBO. just another reason why this show absolutly sucked!

I thought the show was fine. It beats the average coaster show and its Millenium Force and Coney Island Cyclone footage....

I am rather shocked at the number one pick however... I haven't been on these rides, but they chose

SPOILER!

Oblvion and Nemesis as the number one European coasters... Nemesis looks cool, especially with the red water! But even so, it is not the best in Europe, and Oblivion certainly is not. Lets face it, a vertical drop isn't the most incredible thing these days...

If I had my way, Colossos would be the top pick... But then again, I've never been to Europe!

I hate Carnie rides.. bleah! I don't trust them. Only permanent ones are safe to me ;)

If love is like a rollercoaster, doesn't that mean you should be happy ALL of the time? ;)

It wasn't that bad, coasterjedi. Sure, some of the information was off, give me a show that has never had mistakes in it. They always have them.

I myself started watching it at 6 (Eurostar.) Looked like the riders were banging a lot. Probably not too bad though, as it didn't look as bad as Shockwave at SFGAm.

I just looked up who did Thundercoaster. Vekoma did the work on it. I'm impressed, people are always ripping on Vekoma coasters, that looked like loads of fun to me! Defenitally looks like it rides better than Gwazi (but what doesn't?). I bet it's on the level of Viper and Zeus. I liked the clip of it where they showed the wheels lifting off the track. I knew that happens, but it looked really cool (I think it was Thundercoaster... maybe it was Megaphobia or Collosos.)

Less than 2 months until SFGAm opens!

Most of the spectacular type flat rides we see here in North America are traveled by German showmen in Europe. The TUV standards for amusement rides are very strict, if anything they are overbuilt by our standards. Most fairs and celebrations on the Continent usually last two to four weeks as compared to a week or two here. A good example is the Oktoberfest in Munich. "Schaustellers" vie for the choicist spots on the festival grounds, for it is one of the biggest events of the season.

Does anyone know who manufactured EuroStar?

Was it Intamin or Giovanola?

My Top 5 Coasters:
1. Raging Bull(SFGAm) 2.Millenium Force(CP) 3. Deja Vu(SFGAm) 4.V2(SFGAm) 5.Cornball Express(IB)http://coasterworld.cjb.net

On the Posiden segment of the show, they didn't mention who built the ride. Does anyone know who built it? Maybe PKI will get something like that for a coaster.
