New Coaster Record in the books!

The group is at Knoebel's as I type this. They've finished there and are on their way to HersheyPark (approx. 25 minute trip). They've already obliterated the record and have ridden 66 coasters. Nine more at Hershey (LR counting as 2) will give them SEVENTY FIVE!

Just a quick note - As you all know, the money that they are raising goes to the Children's Miracle Network. If you'd like to make a donation, please call 1-877-CMN-2647
Right on! Way to go. This is great for coasters, and great for charity. I congratulate the riders that accomplished this! :)
I just wish I was riding with them.
Is this the group with a helicopter?

Yeeee Haaawwww!
And to think the GRP said they'd welcome the challenge of other new group trying to break their record...

Wow...to think that they have ridden more coasters in the last 24 hours than I have ridden in my entire life. (50) That's scary. While I don't have the most extensive track record, it's not too bad, considering my limited funds...and they beat it in a day! Way to go!

I'm sure the GRP team did welcome this group to beat their record. As a matter of fact, David Escalante of the GRP team facilitated the meeting of two of the new participants. It's in the article linked from the news item about the record breaking attempt.
I think it sucks, because I was in the process of planning 60 coasters in 24 hrs. Now I'm gonna need a chopper and figure out how to get 100. Dont expect to see it happening anytime soon.

In all reality...Congrats to the new World Record Holders, assuming Guinness makes it official.

My other car is a Giovanola!
