New Coaster Game Out Now!! Anyone Heard of It?

This thread doesn't belong in any specific "game" forum since there's no 'general game buzz', so I thought I'd post it in the 'general buzz'.

I was at my local Media Play, and low & behold, what did I see? Yet another coaster building sim/game!!

This one is called "Maximum G-Force Coasters", and it was published by Valu*soft, but it's not listed on their web site. Because it's made by Valusoft, there one of two possible facts there.
1) It's $19.99, so it's a budget title, and the packaging looks very attractive
2) Look at Valusoft's past titles, INCLUDING Rollercoaster Factory & Rollercoaster Factory2, as well as many other regular titles.

I checked out the box, and it includes SEVEN coaster types, including wooden, stand-up, inverted, steel, steel mouse, floorless, as well as flying!! That's pretty impressive, and the graphics looked nice too... not the greatest, but well done. It showed at least 10 pre-fabricated elements including the pretzal, boomerang, cut-back, camel-back among others.

The best part about the game? It actually has objectives! I read that there are over 20 objectives where you keep moving up. You have to build so&so in a certain budget or certain constraints, and if you succeed, you move up... or there's just a regular sand-box mode.

Does anyone know anything about this? Is anyone willing to risk a $20.00 purchase and give the rest of Coasterbuzz a full review if it's worth it?? Sure, it's cheap... but it doesn't mean that it's bad...
...it also doesn't mean it's good either!

That's crap, they put Arrow's on B&M Track and B&M's on Arrow track.

I think that's to avoid any legal issues.
Still looks somewhat tempting.
While the graphics don't compare to No Limits, for $19.99 it doesn't look all that bad at all. Sounds like they got some "scenarios" and challenges in there too. Looks alright, but because I doubt there will be free updates and revisions, I don't think I'll be hurrying out to buy it.

Why doesn't Valusoft just put everthing in one game instead of having 3 different coaster games?

To make money.

Edit:It seems that this company is in the business of ripping off whatever is popular just to make a quick dollar.

Who says that the game is bad? I hope someone takes a risk and tells us... but every game they got doesn't seem to be really that bad... what about that Hard Truck game? They also got an old Tomb Raider!!

...er... but the rest of them... uhh... kinda looks like trash that I would rather make use out of as a frisbee than put it in my CD-ROM drive.

You're not the only one! I don't think any coaster game would make me consider giving up the PowerBook I just bought, but it'd sure be nice if I could join in on the gaming.

I made the mistake of getting Rollercoaster Factory 1, for like $9.99 at Target, and I still feel ripped off. It was a boring, terrible game with poor gameplay, no options, and bad sounds and graphics. So, if this one is made by the same people, I'd avoid it, and wait for RCT2.
