New coaster for Lagoon in 2005

I was looking through the "new for 2005" section on rcdb.com and it says Lagoon will add a Vekoma family suspended coaster next year. I checked the Lagoon website, and it says next year's ride will be called The Bat. No other details are given, but that would certainly be an appropriate name/theme for a suspended coaster.

- Aaron K, who wishes the original Bat was still around! :(

The Vekoma family suspended coasters have more in common with inverteds. I really wish we'd see more true suspended coasters like the old Arrows. Vortex really impressed me at PCW this summer, and I too wish I'd been able to ride the original Bat.
Setpoint is the new suspended company, as Arrow hasn't had anybody bit (with good reason) for years. I like Jr. SLCs, I have 2 under my belt, glad there are more next year.:)

Wow....isn't that new coasters three years in a row? I bet some enthusiasts living in Buffalo, NY, may me relocating ;)
I can see it now: CP vs. SFMM vs. Lagoon. ;)
Hey, I'd much rather go to Lagoon than SFMM! Lagoon rocks!

Add me to the list of enthusiasts living in LA who'd rather drive 14 hours to Lagoon than 1 hour to SFMM.
So I am not the only one that don't think CP, SFMM or even most major parks are park mecca?
Add another vote for Lagoon over SFMM. They have a stagecoach- thats all a park needs to be cool. :)

Bass would kill me...I had to cancel the Salt Lake/Denver trip we were supposed to take this past August. The fool drove it alone ;)

Well now he knows the way (not that it's difficult...especially from San Diego!)...let's make him do it again. ;)

We could take a spin on something in Vegas along the way (I've only been on Speed).

Moosh, don't rub it in... Us poor poor western New Yorkers who haven't gotten anything new since the incredible SRoS... Woe is me, woe is me...

But then again, what do I know?

Sorry Shane! Perhaps ordering a 2005 Wood Coaster Calendar will make you feel better? ;)
