New Coaster Breeds - CoasterBuzz

With the new flying Superman:UF's popping up everywhere and the highly experimental X running, I was wondering if anyone knows any information about new coaster types being developed or in the brainstorming process - or that have yet to be discovered?

Well look on Intamins site. They have some good ones. The halfpipe looks awesome.

S&S has some really interesting stuff on their site as well. Gerstlauer has the 90+ drop. A quick flip through the forums will show you pretty much everything in development, and with IAAPA coming up I'm sure you'll hear about it all real soon.

Well, Columbus "discovered" America and it would SEEM that someone "knew" about it before he did...;)

The TILT does look awesome though, no one in their right mind would really want to ride that thing...;)

What I meant was - If there are any people with predictions for what types may be developed in the future. heh.. sorry i kinda worded that wrong.

Arrow is is working on their suspended coasters so that they can execute inversions. I don't know if this will continue now that S&S bought Arrow, though. I asked them before the merger, but I suppose Arrow could have known about it then.

There are 1000's of designs still to be made at least 50 new designs are all ready patented that most haven't see...it will be a GREAT many years to come...

I just enjoy the idea of the Suspended Floorless. I don't think that's too new, but yea, it's a pretty good concept.
