New Coaster At SeaWorld California???
I just read an article in the San Diego Union Tribune about Sea World's plans for expansion. There was a paragraph stating "immediate plans for the construction of a 95-foot Coaster." Any idea what type of ride this will and who the designer/manufacturer is? Thanks!
It's not a coaster, it's a "splash down" ride, a modern shoot the chutes with theming. I believe SW has one in Orlando.
From what I hear it's a "water coaster" designed by Mack.

" Journey to Atlantis" is a water coaster at Sea world Florida. It is a kick butt ride. I remember reading that a smaller version of this ride was planned in California.
The chances of any coaster going up there are pretty slim. In fact, it would surprise me if the 95' water coaster gets approved. The locals claim that it will ruin the view of the ocean, even though there already is the Belmont Giant Dipper right there.
