New Coaster at Miler Coaster under construction

After I got off work this afternoon,I drove by Miler Coaster Co. here in Portland,Oregon to chech out the progress on the Star Jet coaster going to Casino Pier in New Jersey. To my surprise,I saw another coaster under construction in their front lot.Star Jet is nearing completion in the back lot.The new coaster looks to be 40-50 feet tall on the lift hill.Currently ,the new coaster is mostly support structure, with a few pieces of track here and there.Anyone know where this coaster is going?

As soon as you find out, let us know who the lucky receipient is. I love Miler coasters big time! Definitely one of my top 5 favorite steel coaster builders of all time, the ejector airtime and rib crakin' laterals they build into their rides is unbelievable! If I was rich, I'd buy the High Miler and prop it up in my backyard so I could ride it night and day! Sure hope it's a NorCal park getting this, keep us posted!

We have been waiting for that new coaster for Casino Pier for over a year now. This is certainly welcome news.

I went to Casino Pier Sunday, Easter as they sell tickets for the season at half price and picked up 2 $50 ticket books for the price of one in anticipation of this coaster. Of course I stopped to ride the Wild Mouse and the Carousel (Dentzel, Looff model) before I left.

Does Miler sort of make recreations of anton's old coasters?

Don't believe Miler's ever built a looping coaster, they're mostly known for their wild mice and kiddie coasters, which are the best of their kind IMO. But go ride Scandia Screamer or High Miler and close your eyes, you'll swear your riding a wild out of control wooden coaster!

The track design on Miler coasters is very different from other steel coasters.Instead of tubular steel for the rails, they use channel steel for the rails. The upstop wheels ride on the underside of the running rail, very similar to John Miller upstops on wooden coasters, except the upstop is on the outside of the rail.
