New CF pass owner and want to know which parks are good

I just got a season pass for Cedar Point and Geauga Lake combined cause i live near Cleveland. The thing is since i have the pass i can go to other parks in the Cedar Fair chain. The thing is i wanna know which ones are worth it and which ones are better fun. I am a college student so right now barring that i win the lottery i wont be going to KBF any time soon. But your help would be appreiciated.

Check out Dorney, they added a new coaster for the 05 season.

I know some people will say don't waste your time, but Valleyfair! is a really nice park in Minnesota. It has some great coasters and some good flats. We have an impulse, a hyper, a great classic woodie, and an interesting but fun steel/wood coaster.

We are adding Riptide, a floorless top spin, this year along with Skyscraper. If you have the time come check the park out.

Other than that, Dorney Park is a great park with alot to do and see. *** Edited 4/16/2005 8:50:13 PM UTC by VF***

I would go to all except KBF because of the distance. MiA has the least to offer, but ST is worth one trip. Aside from that, VF should probably be last on your list, but it is still a decent park. WoF was a pleasant surprise for me...very few coasters but Mamba and TimberWolf are great rides. If you drive to VF, Wisconsin Dells is on your way and you can check out Hades and Avalanche.
You made an excellent move in getting the CP GL combo. GL has craploads going on this year!!
You might want to check out www.cedarfair.com for links to all the Cedar Fair parks.

Wait...you mean all the parks in the Cedar Fair chain have websites? That's preposterous! Next thing you know people will be using the internet to research things like driving directions, cheap airline tickets, or -- shudder to think -- find trip reports of parks they're considering visiting!

Before you know it the intenet will even be on computers!

Like everyone else said, they are all pretty good parks that are worth a visit of some sort if you can get there.
Hey thanks for the feedback, i know all the parks, but i was wondering what you though of what they had to offer. I just wanted peoples takes is all i have heard great things about Hydra at Dorney. Plus Shivering Timbers is also a highly regarded woodie, so it would prolly be best to go to the ones closer to me first. I could prolly make Worlds of Fun, cause my one friend lives in Missouri. Thanks alot for the help and Moosh, thanks for a laugh

Glad you recognized it as humor, MB ;)
We Love moosh's humor...well at least I do! Geauga Lake should be a good one, hoping that it gets more attendance then last year! Its getting almost a whole new renovation, I know more will come over the years, I know Cedar Point, Dorney, and Valleyfair should also be considered on this years top list! ;)

WoF may not have the best rides in the chain, but as far as *friendliness* they're tops...

Vivist them all, then make up your own mind....personally, Knotts is the park in the chain I like best....although ThunderHawk ranks VERY high with me....even post-mods, that ride kicks major booty!

Which ThunderHawk do you reffer?

LOL, the only one worth riding, the woodie at Dorney...

Never ridden the OTHER T-Hawk coaster....well, I *did*, but it was a SF-owned SLC with a different moniker then.....I'm sure it's MUCH better now...;)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
