New CCI to be built at Bell's in Tulsa!

I haven't seen anything on this huge piece of news on this site, so enjoy!
Well, after a few years of wars between residents and Bell's Amusement Park in Tulsa, OK, the County Board finally approved plans for a new CCI woodie. Many area residents frequently complain about the noise that is generated by the park, which resulted in a 9:00 PM curfue for Bell's other woodie, The Zingo (which is the only coaster in a world to have such a restriction, if my facts are correct).

Inorder to reduce noise, the coaster will be built on metal supports (a growing CCI trend) and be 75% enclosed... making it quite unique. The new coaster will be 88ft high, with two massive buildings on each end. Estimated price is $4 million.

Whoa, very interesting. I would love to have a CCI in total darkness! *No I havn't gone to SRM* Are the buildings going to be themed to anything?
I've seen this a few places around the net, but couldn't find a link to a news source.  You need to subscribe to the Tulsa World to use thier website (where the story is reported).  Has there been official word that this is a CCI?  The picture on Screamscape looks a lot like one (steel support/wooden track, and the tunnels look a lot like those on The Legend).

I don't know if there will be theming ... but if you follow this link (http://www.screamscape.com/assets/images/CCI_Bells2002_art1.jpg), there is some concept art. Also, for documented proof, follow this link (http://www.kotv.com/pages/viewpage.asp?id=23984). Needless to say, we in Tulsa are quite excited :)
Thanks for the news link.
I saw this on one of Coasterbuzz's affiliates the other day that got me excited. I was going to wait until I saw an update to see if it was going to be approved or not, but MrFusion beat me to it...:)

Here's a link to a rendering of the ride:

It looks like a very cool ride.

-------------
Mayday - Memorial Day Weekend - Nonpoint, Nickelback, Oleander, Staind
Ozzfest - June 8 - Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

I have heard about this for a while, so it is great to hear that it is coming!! i wish more small amusement parks would build CCI coasters, considering they are relatively inexpensive. Here's hoping for a CCI at Canobie Lake!
I've also read that the opposition was planning to appeal the ruling (which was very close to turning down the proposal), so we shouldn't get too excited yet.

Now, if those silly rabbits in Erie would let the one at Waldameer go through...

Wow! That's cool looking! They should through a few skeletons in the building to make a haunted coaster.
