New Boomerang's?

I was woundering what you people thought of an Idea that I just had, What if Vekoma & Arrow(S&S) got together and designed a Boomerang with 'X' style trains on it! Would it be cool?, or would it suck? Im asking for your opinion because I am yet to ride either of the Coasters.

Seeing as there isn't one...it'd be kinda hard to tell weather or not it would be cool or suck. Interesting concept though.

Why would the need to collaborate? Arrow has designed shuttles, too.

Damn good ones too Moosh.

My home coaster, Afterburner at Fun Spot has some of the craziest air ever and inch for inch is one of the most fun coasters I have ever been on. Smooth as glass after all these years and only 30 minutes away Yay!

Yup, that would pretty cool. It could be called eXerang.
eXerang... just doesn't sound right..

I think that a shuttle 4th Dimension coaster would be pretty cool. While I think that the layout would need to be modified a little bit ( larger footprint to accomodate trains ) it would be a nice addition to a park that can afford a full scale 4D.

While I agree that a 4D shuttle would be cool you gotta realize those trains are HUGE and therefore the track requires a much larger footprint than a standard Boomerang.

Whaddya *you* know about G spots Moosh? ;) And, on topic, I don't know what the appeal of 4-D trains would be on a boomerang. To me, the 'fun' (and I use that term loosely :) ouch!) of a boomerang is in the backwards part of the ride...and on X (yes, I was on X) I could never quite tell which way I was going anyway. I'd rather see a taller and longer 4-D layout.

Besides it almost seems like a waste if a park spent money on something like a 4D Boomerang. Just get a totally new coaster.

Yeah, a 4D-Boomerang wouldn't be cheap. Unfortunaly I don't think we'll see anything close to the height and length of X due to it's problems, so we'll probably see a short, cloneable 4D before we see anything else. It happens with alot of prototypes. (Like B:TR, S:UF etc.)

(This probably has been said on these boards a thousand times... oh well)
