New book details the development of Universal theme parks under MCA ownership

The book, entitled “JayBangs – How Jay Stein, MCA, & Universal Invented the Modern Theme Park and Beat Disney at Its Own Game,” takes readers on a journey from the beginning of the Universal Tram Tour and through the creation of a second Universal Studios in Florida and beyond. It is a detailed look at the inner workings of MCA (the agency that owned Universal Studios at the time), Universal Studios and Stein’s completely different approach to creating and running a theme park.
