New at SFMM for 2002?

Now, I know that X just opened and that I shouldn't be greedy BUT........

I was just curious if SFMM was going to get anything new this year.  I have heard that they are getting a Ham on Rye Simulator.  Something of which I know nothing about or know nothing at all about the company.  This was on somebody's SFMM  websight.  It also said that they are putting off their much needed woodie until 2003.

Anyway, I  was just wondering if anybody else had heard that, or any other info for that matter.

Change 24 to 48-72 hours, and go get that websight's vision checked.

Magic Mountain shouldn't put in any more rides until they work on the the general wuality of the park. Enhance theming, take those horsecallars off Revolution, get rid of Psyclone............. maybe some flat rides would help?
Hey, I didn't say that I DEMANDED a new coaster or that I DEMANDED new rides.  I was just curious, sorry for my lack of coaster-asking-questions etiquette.  I was just wodering since I don't spend 6 hours + a day on this websight and know this stuff already.  I pretty much don't know anything about what is new for 2002 with the exception of Xcelerator and Wicked Twister.  I apoligize for my obvious stupidity TrBiggar.

Secondly, I agree with SquishyMon.  I think that they would benefit by adding some theming, more friendly staff, keeping their park cleaner, and add a few flat rides.

Why theme?  Just get rid of Pysclone.
Yeah, that too.
Geese they could enhance their park, THE WAY IT SHOULD BE! If they add a new ride regardless!

Not MLK's words but mine..I have a Dream! I have a DREAM! I HAVE A DREAM!
I have a dream! That SFMM fans will be able to walk hand in hand with CP's!
AND no ONE cares what a coaster is and what a coaster isn't!

Let me just say, before this thread gets closed. Look for one or two flat rides to show up this summer according to my source. Other than that, a mild improvement here, a mild improvement there, and the park will sit back and enjoy the attention X will bring in. Basically nothing else  significant will happen that hasn't already.

Have you ever considered that it may not be the park that's the problem, but YOU???
I've never been to six flags magic mountain, but i hear they really need flats....also, i think (from pics i've seen) that they themeing there isn't awful...goliath looks pretty nicely themed, along with riddler, and batman...that's better then some parks.

"you give me the most gorgeous sleep that i've ever had and when it's really bad i guess it's not that bad" Underneath it all- no doubt
MM doesn't need anymore friendly staff! Their staff is the most friendly I've ever seen! Go to SFMW and you'll experience some REAL rude staff.

Hey! Psyclone rocks! It was ssooo much fun! that's the only coaster there that I really "laugh" on! If you think Psyclone is rough, then ride Viper again buds.

Six Flags Marine World..... Theme Parks taken to a whole new level.

I agree, SFMM's current staff is quite friendly, I'm there enough to know lol. They are a bit on the slow side though.

New for 2002: Stress Management Centers for mechanics continually trying to get all of Magic Mountain's rides to work at once.

HAHAHA!  So very true Zero G. I honestly feel like SFMM is a park full of prototypes. Hey as long as X is running, I'm happy!

Damn,

I post a forum topic that is basically the same and it gets shut instantly.  Now this one is posted a few days later and it's all good  I'm finished with this site.

Flashback has to be the roughest ride at MM. Last time I rode it I swore it was the last. If there's one ride that has to go at MM it's Flashback. What a piece of crap!
Aside from the above I think they should replace Pyclone eventually but I think there are other things they need to address first. While MM may have lot's of coasters the quality of some is poor at best. I love MM, it's my favorite park but Revolution, (restraints) Viper, (restraints) and Colosus (trim brakes, tracking, etc.) need some TLC right away!
Cheers!

As remarkable as it may seem, the moderators and I don't sit around at the computer 24/7 getting our jollies shutting people down. We all have better things to do I'm sure.

Pursuant to the TOS, namely the part about constant speculation about "the next ride" (which is most annoying when a new ride just opened at said park), this one is done.
